i do like the dark atmospheric setting but i'll probably get it if

I can play it by myself(i dont really like playing with others too much)

and if I get a retail version(my internect connection is very slow and if i do upgrade it ill probably going to have a download limit)

if it can meet these 2, i'll might buy it.

Nice, day X! I wonder how the online stuff will be handled, will it use steam for the online/offline option perhaps? Anyway, played demon's souls/dark souls on PS3 so I'll plug in the same controller for this, after trying the standard controls of course.

Can't wait to play it,played Demon's Souls on the PS3,loved it.Very happy I will be able to play Dark Souls on my PC...

I just hope sales will be good,it would be a huge shame if they floped due to pirates.If that happened,doubt many publishers would trust any petition that easily in the future...

I'm happy to see this because I can't wait to see what the modding community can come up with, even though I don't own a powerful gaming PC. But I can't help but feel Dark Souls will be pirated to hell and back.. I hope not, because I see this as a test for whether future Souls games will be released on the PC.

I have a gut feeling that this game is going to be on the top of the top 100 list on torrent sites. This game is very single player focused which doesn't provide incentives for people to purchase the game at all just like many other RPGs on PC which have mediocre sales.

The amount of wrong in this statement is so amazing I want to laugh.

1) Skyrim is 100% single player, and sold crazy well on PC

2) Half the Dark Souls experiance is online features, ones fairly unique compared to any other game

3) You obviously haven't played the game :lol:

4) Even niche titles sell well on Steam, but DARK SOULS won't? :lol:
