Banjo 3 is 80% Vehicles

in banjo the solved that problem by getting specific moves, so why not make new ,funny and original moves+ HD graphics+ good new puzzles ?

Instead of them giving you the moves, you create the moves by creating your vehicle. That is really awesome if you ask me, then again I don't live in the past and I like it when devs try something different. Fantastic job Rare

While I don't like the idea, we don't know a lot about the game still. Who knows? Maybe Rare will pull something off that'll make the vehicle use really fun and just completely surprise us.

I really hope Rare doesn't screw this up. If they do then I won't have any respect for them.

Are the people defending this game that ignorant? How many PURE platformers are left? Mario and...well...yea... The rest kind of died out due to them being watered down from sequel to sequel. If anything, we need a RETURN to pure platforming and sadly, this game just killed all my hope for something other than Mario Galaxy. I love collecting, I love puzzles and I love platforming. What is their problem really? I don't like games like Ratchet and Clank, I don't like Daxter and in summation, I HATE hybrids. Honestly, I never have gotten angered at game news too much but this takes the cake. They should either scrap the project or ditch the character models as it is not only an insult to fans but also, an insult to the franchise. This to me is Mario Sunshine x 100 in dissapointment.

Let me emphasize on thing about Banjo 3 (Yes 3, not spin off, not side project it is the third game in the main series) You are in a vehicle, you use that vehicle to platform in (Following?) You can customize this vehicle to platform the way you would like to (Limitless possibilites) People seem to assume vehicles=racing, this is not the case, and said people are morons.

Now, I have played and loved every banjo game to date (1 & 2 are some of my all time favs) and I am personally looking forward to banjo more than any game in 08', why is that? Because I can see past what others seem to get stuck at, and that is the vehicles, people dont realise that the vehicles are an extension of banjo (The character) and not something just tacked on, just watch some videos, it's amazing what you can do with the vehicles.

Not to mention the world is HUGE it's essentially sandbox platforming, add in fully customizable vehicles (Which you would need anyways because the world is so large) and you have, in my opinion (because im open to change, and not some close minded goon that is wanting a carbon copy of Banjo on the 64 and would complain about not innovating the series even if that was the case) *Breath* what is turning out to be an innovation in the platforming series and a game that will surely surpass both Banjo 1 & Banjo 2.

Platforming in vehicles. Its like a Mario-Kart but with platforming elements. May unique and all but I personally dislike the idea.

It's still a platformer. You edit and create your vehicle on the fly in order to solve the puzzles and overcome challenges. It's not different than say...Link using his hookshot, mirror shield, fire and sun arrows to navigate the puzzles and overcome obstacles in a dungeon.

I'm away LoZ games aren't platformers, but really I don't understand the outcry.

Ummm, the reason all old Rare games were good is because of Nintendo.

A decent chunk of the game still consists of traditional platforming and the graphics and artstyle look amazing. It's just that now you have the added workshop element and your collectables are actually useful (which is great considering that Banjo Kazooie has so many collectables)

If you want to keep replaying Banjo 1+2 then use your N64. A lot of us want to play new games
