Wonder if my OC'd 2600K and 670 GTX will be able to max it at 1080p, with stable 45+ FPS.

Unless they do some serious optimizations, probobly not. Most of the alpha benchmarks place the GTX 680 at 40 fps with dips down to 30.

you can thank my own ENB for a lot of that on top of the basic 2k texture overhaul that....it seems to bring out sharper image quality and the new lighting from the ENB drastically alters item appearance and even hair colors[QUOTE="KarateeeChop"][QUOTE="wis3boi"] My skyrim uses up to 2.7 of my 3gb at times. BF is very much CPU based. That 2600K will be fine.[QUOTE="nameless12345"]
Red Orchestra is pretty "softcore" compared to WW2 Online. ;)
Wasdie
But World War 2 Online is terrible.Â
Â
Maybe, but it still pre-dates the whole BF series and it still more advanced (gameplay-wise, not graphics) than all of them.
In my book, that's impressive.

I havent uploaded it to any mod sites, still thinking if I will, but you can grab a copy here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/s0dwz4yd99910cp/Valkyrie%27s+ENB.rar[QUOTE="MK-Professor"]

in one year(the time it will take PS4 to reach 10m as you say), pc gamers with pc's more powerful than ps4 will increase as well and also exponentially (for example, in 3 years GPU's that destroy ps4 will cost $50, so everyone even the poor pc gamers can have gaming pc's stronger than ps4).
tormentos
Â
Yeah in 3 years those will probably cost $100 a little more, since you involved the word destroy.
But the PC as well has to be account for so add another $400 on top of those $100,oh and 3 years from now the PS4 should be like $249 tops or even less.
So see you in 3 years.
I sen you change your argument now, that is classic...
I will remind you that the argument was that pc gamers with equal or better pc than next gen console are around 10M(according to steam stats that you love so much) and next gen console user base is exactly ZERO, and in one year both pc gamers with equal or better pc than next gen console and next gen console user base will increase.
Also, I am pretty sure that a 2015 low-end($50) gpu will destroy a 2012  mid range gpu.

Nvidia's mid-range cards pack a punch.
6600 GT, 260 GTX, 460 GTX, 560 GTX and 660 GTX were all nice cards for the price.

every ENB i ever tried either killed my computer or it looked like vaselineLooks like I should be good to go. Game looks like an improvement over Battlefield 3 in both graphics and destruction so it's nice that the Frostbite 3 engine is pretty efficient and the game isn't too much more demanding than Battlefield 3.Â
I was actually waiting for the BF4 system requirements to determine whether I should upgrade my old GTX 570. I bit the bullet and picked this guy up yesterday on Newegg.

Based on videos and screenshots I have seen the textures do seem to be improved over Battlefield 3. This probably explains in part the increase in the memory requirements.
I have a GTX 680 2GB and a i5 2500K at 4.4GHz with 8GB RAM... I'm certain I will be able to play this game on at High settings on my native resolution of 2560x1080 at 60FPS with ease. I'm looking forward to playing it... Mind you I am much more excited for GTA5.

The VRAM is the only thing I lack according to the requirements. Still, I should be good to go.

It's a wait and see situation. The specification's on the recommended requirements are contradictory... It recommends 3GB's VRAM but then recommends GPU's with 2GB VRAM.[QUOTE="Sagem28"][QUOTE="Grey_Eyed_Elf"]

I think this is what most people have noticed, it recommends GPUs that come with less than 3GB of RAM and then also recommends having 3GB of VRAM. Very strange. Please Log In to post.
