If they do that can the I would love if they revived Vanquish."Break out news, Nintendo buys Platinum games"
Wonder what that would do? I can see that happening if both Wonderful 101 and B2 sell well on the system.

[QUOTE="rjdofu"][QUOTE="p3anut"]Doesn't make his statement any less true. His statement is wrong though, Nintendo's target audience for the WiiU is hardcore gamer, and it is clear that this time they are actually trying.Yeah because Byonetta sold spectacular on the 360 and PS3 oh wait....
SRW-MKII
You mean the "plays only CoD, complains on online forums" type of gamer?
Yeah, they would better *not* try to appeal to that type of gamer...
[QUOTE="mexicangordo"]If they do that can the I would love if they revived Vanquish. Vanquish needs Mikami on board as well. Get him back for a sequel, and I'd be happy as pie."Break out news, Nintendo buys Platinum games"

[QUOTE="mexicangordo"]If they do that can the I would love if they revived Vanquish. Vanquish is a game that definitely needs a sequel, more so than Bayonetta. Vanquish just ended on such a giant cliffhanger that I think I literally said "What the F*ck?!""Break out news, Nintendo buys Platinum games"

To grow the Bayonetta IP, they moved it exclusively to the console of a company whose main demographic has historically bought mostly 1st part titles and largely ignored 3rd party ones. Sure, that's a good idea.

Yeah, this more than anything else. He wasn't lying when he said it's reach more gamers with Nintendo's partnership, especially when the alternative is ZERO.

 im going to cry laughing when this game bomb's in sales. everybody know the target audience for the WiiU is Casuals and die hard Mario/Link fans. they're not gonna give too Sh*t's about this game.

Doesn't make his statement any less true.Launch-games sell more than if it had been released later in the console life cycle. I will laugh hard if this game sell more than first game did on 360 and Ps3 combined:D
Well Bayonetta wasn't really my thing but I liked it nonetheless. Shame the sequel has to end up exclusive to the Wii U. Now it's pretty much certain that I'll never end up playing it...
I did't like Bayonetta before it was cool to not like Bayonetta.[QUOTE="Demonjoe93"]
And I love how Bayonetta is suddenly a terrible video game.

Why you wearin' my glasses, bro!?
This means PC gamers will get to play it :P

You should first get Skyward Sword running well on your ten times stronger machines ;) :P

I'd really like to mention something, but oh the fear of moderation is keeping me at bay.
They fixed it's performance problems?
Nice to hear, might try it running myself.
Still probably isn't completely glitch free tho.

And the install base is much smaller. How about the fact that this console is more expensive than Wii, games are more expensive, and 3rd party and mature games often have problems on Nintendo platforms. WiiU already has a few big 1st party titles that would probably be must haves for sheep. At this point it's much more likely it will fail miserably in sales.
lol so they want to grow the brand by taking it away from the original fanbase WTF? To me this translates as 'Nintendo paid us up the a$$ for this'.
Now I have zero reason to go back and finish the first Bayonetta. Thing is the games not really a system seller, it's just a kinda good.
Problem is the Wii U is too much of a risk to get it day one because I don't want to end up with another GC/Wii. I've already decided to wait a year so I can see what it's games and online are going to look like, by that time, the next gen Sony/MS systems will be about ready to launch.

It's marketing speak. I would say choosing to release the game is growing the brand. If they couldn't release the game at all I cannot imagine that growing anything... The backlash of this is baffling. They had no publisher willing to fund the game. They were out of money. Bayonetta 2 was cancelled. Nintendo came to them and offered a publishing deal with them. Part of that deal was Wii U exclusivity. This is the real world and nobody in their right minds would refuse such a deal. It revives the project, gives Nintendo's new console a great game, and fans get the sequel they wanted. Maybe if the first game sold better it would have been published multiplat, but that is not the case, and is in the past and completely irrelevant.[QUOTE="FireEmblem_Man"]

Sure it was a cop-out statement, but this reaction is pretty silly, people dont even care about the game they just want to lash out. The outcry wasnt this ridiculous after the game was originally cancelled. And I despise bayonetta

Although the first is going in the back of the cupboard, I won't have the incentive to finish it if I may not have access to the follow ups.

The sad thing is that in may, when Bayonetta 2 was canceled, there was not even 10% of all the whining and crying we see now. Pathetic

The Nintendo fans only seem to buy the consoles for Mario and Zelda most of the other stuff isn't that good. I will be intrested to see hows the second Bayonetta does when compared to the first game which wasn't that good.

True. I guess it's the female version of Dante and I hate, I can't bring myself to play DMC.

By making it exclusive? BS DETECTED !!!
hey there was a time where nearly everything was exclusive to playstation so turn about is fair play don't believe me need for speed 2 up til porshe unleashed spyro 1 -3 crash 1-3 syphon filter driver spec ops final fantasy mgs the former 2 were nes exclusive before so whats bull about nintendo finally getting support? i just dont see the point why dont you give the wii u a fair chance afterall the majority complained when there was no third party support on wii , and you have to ask yourself why youll know the answer if you do not buy the game made by third partyNice, i'm glad the game is alive and will be on the WiiU, i was extremely upset when i found that the game was cancelled...but now Nintendo to the rescue, no doubt yet another reason of why to get a WiiU, i seriously cannot wait to know more about the game, if it keeps the combat intact and the epic boss battles then its a day 1 for me.
And you can quote me on this, there will be either a Samus or Princess Peach costume for Bayonetta :)
