dat screen tear
 lolThis topic is locked from further discussion.
Is that a screenshot or a painting? omg :shock:Why u list games that are not out !? >_<
Im going to go with God of War III. An odd choice Im sure and the game is inconsistent but at its best it truly is a picture come to life. Not realistic but artistically breath-taking, and I truly feel SSM will put all the stops in making GOWA the most gorgeous looking game on consoles.

Cows can never handle the reality of direct feed shots. That looks on par with Crysis 2 and Gears 3, and is the pinnacle of ND's abilities on the PS3.
And to rub salt into their wounds here is Watchdogs on PC.[QUOTE="GamerwillzPS"]
The Last of Us, of course!

That looks terrible really
No worse than some of the gears shots you posted

And to rub salt into their wounds here is Watchdogs on PC.3 unreleased games and 1 game that doesn't look good enough for the poll. And Uncharted 3 which does belong in the top 5 but definitely not the best looking one. Killzone 3 destryos the competition when it comes to console graphics. Looks far better than anything else on consoles.

[QUOTE="RyviusARC"][QUOTE="gamecubepad"]And to rub salt into their wounds here is Watchdogs on PC. That's a bullshot, the gameplay shown in the video didn't look that good. And no I'm notsaying this because I hate PC and watch dogs etc. etc. I'm just really certain that's been touched up. If not, then wow. :pCows can never handle the reality of direct feed shots. PC screenshots aren't touched up. They have the tools to make it look like that in game. Only consoles have bullshots

The prominence of jaggies in these is disturbing

360/PS3 are maxed. AA/AF are too costly to implement on a noticeable level, so they go with a cheapy post-process AA and call it macaroni.

true dat yo :P
i love how cows seem to think the PS3 can do supersampling in real-time. There's more jaggies in the Mass Effect PC shots some idiot posted. That should give you some idea that TLOU and GOW:A screens are obvious bullshots, unless you think they're running more than 16X AA. Just like Uncharted 2/3 it was a while before the legit screens came out, so how about we wait for that to happen.

This a bullshot to Mr. expert PS3 programmer? It has less jaggies than TLOU...but you shold know it's also real game play shot. People get upset about what PS3 is able to do but that is what PS3 was supposed to be capable of in the first place.
alot of People seem happy to try to bash the system and talk about failed promises and what not but the same people seem upset when the system provides evidence to prove them wrong and is actually capable of doing what was promised.

Direct feed from where? It's cute how you think the actual game will look like thos PR bullshots. Main reason they're not direct from the game? A severe lack of jagged edges, and no ND game has good AA

I'll admit that game looks good, yet it overdoes DOF effects and it's textures are horrible in some spots. Only it's character models are good. Look at this shot and notice a distinct lack of shadows on the trucks after the explosion goes off. More prebaked nonsense. Also this is a definite in game shot dues to the jaggies

so what, you're saying the shots of GOW:A and TLOU in this topic are legit? because that was exactly what i was questioning...with simple common sense. Are you suggesting that despite Uncharted 3 having significant aliasing problems (like practically all console games) they will have magically completely eradicated aliasing from TLOU and GOW:A? (there's certainly none at all in these so-say in-game shots).TLOU will be riddled with Aliasing problems because all ND games are. Uncharted 3 despite looking great in places has some awful AA crawling in it. GOW III used some good AA and had elss jaggies showing so GOW:A might get on better in that regard.
All the shots devs put out to showoff the games are almost always bullshots because no one will be a jagfest or think it looks appealing. But also direct ingame screenshots can degrade the quality of a game's visuals, even my PC screenshots don't look as good as what's in game

and do you own a PS3? have you played GOW3? The way you keep talking about bullshots makes me think you are bashing simply because you don't want to believe what the PS3 is capable of and make ignorant remarks because that is what you want to be the case.
It's true that ND games aren't the best at AA...but look at what Quantic Dreams was able to achive with Beyond Two Souls. Are you saying ND couldn't get better? And seriously questioning GOWA on AA despite having the best implamentation of AA of any console game ever? Really makes it look like you are just hating becuase that ND argument doesn't work for Santa Monica.
I had a PS3 for about 3 years and played all the Uncharteds and God of war games. I wouldn't say something without being able to back it up.
Also all those shots from that link were the first few batches or PR shots sent out to show the game. They are indeed Bullshots.
Quantic Dream can do that because there isn't much happening in their games and it cuts corners in other areas like I said not having dynamic shadows. I am not blindly hating, I loved GOW III and the first 2 uncharted games. I actually like the devs. I'm just not mindless or a fanboy trying to promote them as Gods of the industry. I know where their limitations are

but it must be a bullshot Right, RIGHT? Before you even start ahem...
Looking at any of the full resolution screenshots from the final release code of God Or War 3, you could be forgiven for thinking that what you are seeing is nothing more than supersampled bullshots, shots created for the purpose of making the game look good when blown up several times its original size for magazine printing. However you?d be very wrong indeed, because although some have speculated that these latest direct-feed grabs of GoW3 are downsampled images like most of the screens released for the demo, we at IQGamer can confirm that they in fact showcase the game?s unique Anti-Aliasing method in action.
Just take a look at the screenshot above. The AA is absolutely amazing, far better than anything the 4xMSAA 360?s GPU can manage, and in some places matching perhaps what you expect from a high end PC gaming rig performing 16xMSAA. Either way, it is the best example of Anti-Aliasing on any console game to date, bar none.IQgamer

tell us some more bullshots and what is not possible on PS3, you seem to know more than what the developers and unbiased tech analysits do.
again GOW3 is a 2010 game...it's now 2012, and the games come out 2013.

where the **** is that cominng from in this conversation? I am debating based on facts that are present. if you think anything I have said so far resembles a mindless fanboy, then you need to take a look in the mirror. Taking about "gods" and "mindless fanboy"non-sense when addressing me makes you look desperate because you don't have an example of anything of the sort.
And I suggest you take a look at my responce to the other poster in my previous post.
Crysis 2 (360) is the correct answer. .....and I just realized how much Naughty dog tried to copy off of crysis 2 based on the comparison pics posted earlier. You can tell they were heavily influenced by Crysis 2.I guess imitation is the best form of flattery. Too bad TLOU still has that hint of a cartoony look and still doesn't look as impressive as Crysis 2. And not only does Crysis 2 look better but the levels and battlefields have a bigger scale. By the way what's up with putting up unreleased games. And lol @ kz3. What a nasty looking game. Don't know what people see in that mess. By the way speaking of unreleased games Halo 4 takes a dinosaur dump on mudzone 3 when it comes to visuals. Not to mention the fact that Halo is done on a bigger scale while mudzone 3 is a corridor shooter. Please don't make me laugh.greensand24
The Last of Us, of course!

The game isn't even out yet. But honestly i thinks its God of War 3. Although i thought console gamers "only cared about gameplay".
