Best looking console game of this generation Poll

TLOU will be riddled with Aliasing problems because all ND games are. Uncharted 3 despite looking great in places has some awful AA crawling in it. GOW III used some good AA and had elss jaggies showing so GOW:A might get on better in that regard.

All the shots devs put out to showoff the games are almost always bullshots because no one will be a jagfest or think it looks appealing. But also direct ingame screenshots can degrade the quality of a game's visuals, even my PC screenshots don't look as good as what's in game

Atm Uncharted 3. Beyond Two Souls or The Last of Us will snag the crown when they are released. For PC have to go with BF3 and The Witcher 2.

Do people realize that there was actual gameplay footage of Last of Us released? Watch the video. It is completely riddled with jaggies. If the aliasing is easily seen in a youtube video, then it is going to be prominent in direct feed shots, what the cows posted may be in engine, but they are not direct feed gameplay.ferret-gamer

Rayman Origins is the only answer. It runs at 1080p & 60FPS and just looks drop dead gorgeous.

I finally got myself an HD tv last month (I know I'm late) and the game that improved the most by far in the visuals department was Rayman Origins. I'd have to say that's the most visually stunning game I've seen this gen and it runs in 1080p at 60 fps

Anyone who answers Gears are people who don't have a PS3. The game looks good, it looks great, but it's not anywhere close to matching those PS3 games. Everyone but the most delusional Xbox fanboy would agree.

You could have placed KZ3 in the spot of one of those unreleased games however. The poll should have been something like UC3, GoW3, KZ3, Crisis 2, Gears 3 (or you could replace crysis 2 with Red Dead Redemption)

using upcomming games in the poll kind of messes up things becase none of us have experienced the final products, Remember when certian people thought Alan Wake and RAGE would be the best looking games on consoles...before they released? Man the graphics hype for those two games *before release* was crazy...and so was their floppage in that department.

Its my opinion man, i do fint Skyrim very beautiful.

I admit im not an expert when it comes to tech and programing, but a game like Skyrim wowes me far more times with its scale, weather affects, vistas, etc, than a cinematic scripted boss battle on a game like Gears, Uncharted or GoW.
