It will be confirmed when it happens, and it hasn't. And guess what? MS and Sony are going nowhere. Deal with it. Baaaa Baaaa Baaaaa!

That's the best you can come up with? Saying "Baaa!"? I'm assuming you've got nothing to counter this thread, then?

There is nothing to counter. I stated the truth, Nintendo hasn't won yet and it's to early to tell. Also MS and Sony are not going anywhere. Counter that..if you dare....Mwahahaha! Really bad evil laugh.
How do you know they're going nowhere? If Sony lose a lot this gen they'll have no problem with leaving the games industry, and if the Xbox 360 doesn't end up making MS money this time, they'll leave. After the massive losses from the Xobx, most of the MS board wanted to pull out of the industry, but Gates and his cronies wanted to stay. They won't try a third time if it's not a success this time.
One thing that Nintendo has very little of compared to MS and Sony is $$$$$$$$$$$$$ ;)
I'm not saying they're going backrupt, Nintendo has been extremely successful and have a boat load of cash to keep them from going vaporware. But to delusionally believe MS and Sony will "literally go away" because Nintendo has suddenly "amazed 3rd party devs", most of which are likely to produce pick up and play games, is absurd and fanboyish. Sheep need to wake up and smell the reality. Which is NOW. NOW, Wii is only 5 months old. NOW, Wii and Nintendo are NOT KINGS of the gaming realm. Stop kidding yourselves.
Sheeps, for the past few days, you' ve pretty much "demoted" yourselves to a Cow of last generation.

Microsoft took a big loss on the Xbox 1. If they don't do something big, and soon, the 360 will sell around Xbox1 numbers and also be a loss. Microsoft might withdrawl from the hardware game biz to focus on their more profitable areas such as Windows. Companies don't like wasting money.
As for Sony, they're not that big of a company. Their electronics on all fronts has been hurting lately. They made a HUGE investment into Blu-Ray. They're so bent on making Blu-Ray win, that they've thrown away the console war. Sony is a multimedia company. If they win the format war, it will be FAR more profitable than the Playstation 3 could have ever been. But if they lose the format war, Sony will be in trouble and will have to reorganize it's other fronts and the Playstation 4 might be in jeopardy. Sony, the company itself, will be fine.
"As for Sony, they're not that big of a Company." - Wrong. Yes they are. Not just in electronics & computers & tehcnology but in Hollywood and the Music Industry. ;) That qualifies as a multi-billion dollar company.
MS took losses from Xbox 1, yes. And NOW, MS are doing something good. Where have you been? 360 is doing fine right now. Even better than what Xbox 1 did. Live has a strong user base and not letting up soon. MS has secured a Halo fanbase, or rather a multiplaying universe with Xbox Live. 360 has an extremely formidable gaming lineup, garnering multiplatform games from more 3rd parties and locking down exclusives such as Halo 3 as their most anticipated Killar App title since Halo2.
Sorry, but MS and Sony are in for the LONG RUN.
And I'm sure all 3 companies will do well in generation 7.
I had meant that Sony isn't as big as Microsoft. Sony is only 1/5 as big. Microsoft is massive. But for your comment that the 360 is doing good (i'm guessing you mean in terms of profit), they are NOT. The 360 is selling just as bad as the Xbox1, but with an even greater multibillion dollar investment. As for titles bringing in more sales...nope. With the exception of Halo 3, which may bring in a million or two, none of the other titles are system sellers. Most of the people that wanted a 360 have one now. By the way, read the recent reports of how Microsoft is lowering their sales forcast for the summer because the 360 is beginning to cool off. There simply arn't very many more hardcore gamers that are going to get a 360 and Microsoft can't seem to bring in any casuals nor Japan.Â
