Can MAG be done on 360 ? yes or no

The diference is that Sony fanboys allways believe 360 couldnt run games like PS3 exclusives. I think its something "cool" to say probably because their system is more expensive.

Dont think your getting the fact is most people never hyped mag to this level.......ever cept a few really silly cows where as we knew Bungie would deliver a AAA it was a dead certainty and the Halo phenomenon of the noughties has a lot to do with that aswell..Not saying Halo isnt bad or anything but many MP's have surpassed it most likely MW2 will achieve this feat and im sure was scored lower than Halo 3 at some point in the next few months on the 360 alone.

As i will say the sheer numbers are impressive but the way your talking with We makes you sound (putting it bluntly) like a stuck up fanboy who needs to get out a little more fanboyism is lame.

Here's a story I heard from a fairly reliable source.

A producer at volition had told the press they were having problems developing for the ps3, and it was basically spun into "the ps3 version of the game will suck". So to recover they were doing a lot of press stuff w/ the ps3 version. As many of you probably know Red Faction Guerrilla has hands down the best destruction in any game ever, and apparently one of the Sony reps had been saying that type of destruction is only capable on the ps3. The game was also released for the 360 w/ the exact same destruction.

firsst of all gears looks better than QT. but even if it meraculously did then you just destroyed your arguement. that means that 255 players is possible on 360, here's the situatioon: "Gears isn't possible on PS3" QT is on the same engine so I think you're wrong, "MAG is impossible on the 360" going by the same logic that you used to defend Ps3 I can use the same to defend the 360. sure theres not a game that is out but there is a possiblity. so in the end you have no Idea if it is or not, so people shoulld stop BSing stuff when they have no real knowledge behiend it, I'm not saying its possible but a random person saying it is only posible on XXX system should be quiet.

I don't know if it's possible or not. There might be something related to the processor, after all, network code runs on it, and the CELL has more cores, so there might be a bit of truth, at least in the sense that it would have more lag on 360.

I remember playing Warhammer Online. That game had terrible lag which started at just 10-20 players. On fortress sieges (100+ players), it was so abysmal that you couldn't understand what was going on (it got down to 1fps and also enormous network lag). And remember, that's a game developed by Mythic, who should know a thing or two about MMOs. So, all in all the reports on MAG so far show that the developers have really pulled it off nicely.

Not to mention games like KZ, Uncharted, and others already surpass it and run at a solid frame rate. Unreal Tournament graphically is the same as GEOW2, mods can turn UT3 to 3rd person view, so what exactly does GEOW have that UT3 doesnt? A story and big monstors? *looks at Shadow of Collosus* yeah, Ps3 cant do that :roll:

would it be done? no, i'm getting more and more into the game and im wondering did they fix a damn thing gameplay wise from the beta? SVER is still overpowered the sniper rifle is still a useless weapon....not when every other main gun in the game is as accurate and powerful as it is at a distance.
I'm actually debating taking it back to gamespot i still got my Week till i can take it back and just trade it in...they better fix this game soon...

They are a 1st party studio, you cannot believe anything they say, as if a company Sony owns is going to say the 360 can handle a PS3 game.

MAG will only be revolutionary if other devs makes their shooters to mimic the main feature of MAG. So if from this day on shooters are made to have 200+ player matches than MAG is important but otherwise the game is insignificant.

Yea sure its possible only on ps3,after all you got to have powerful system to play something like MAG,here,WOW for example,ALOT of people online,my AMD64 3.0 is of example very powerful stacked up with ge force 6800 i can play it on highest,laughing you fools who have those outdated systems :P

Becouse neither MS or Sony (most likely) doesnt have its OWN servers and like everyone in the world use companies that do this sort of thing.
