My issue with Sony 1st party titles in general is how "off" everything feels.
It's not a platform thing either, it's software. Playing MGS4 felt like perfection. UC2 was also great.
When I'm playing a Sony game, and many of the 3rd party stuff on PS3, aspects like controls and interface are functional and sound good on paper when you read them in a review, but when you hold the controller in your hand, the controls just feel off. It feels like going from Galaxy to a Sonic game, I can't stand it.
It's weird to me when you guys are praising UC:GA/Wipeout/LBP/Modnation. They are great experiences and quality titles, but unplayable to me. Not because of broken controls, just the feeling/physics is weird/off.

That sucks for you man :( I wouldnt wish something like that on my worst enemy. Is it something with your hands? Can you get it checked out? Arthritis or whatever?
wtf
to give more specific examples.
I can't play LBP due to the bad character physics.
I can't play Wipeout PS3 because the controls are bad. Either that or I just don't get the mechanics of the game. I got the game to try the stereo 3D effect.
and so on
This is why I'm confused.
1) the physics arent bad. Read impressions and reviews...where do you get this bad physics from?
2) same goes for Wipeout. I'm glad you bring that up because Wipeout is a game I play frequently, how is it bad? Do you mean compared to previous versions of wipeout??? If thats the case you must have a really bad ability to adapt to things. Sometimes you need to learn a control scheme instead of just saying "OMG THIS ISNT HOW I REMEMBER IT?! I GIVE UP"
3) Maybe its a mental thing if you're the person saying the controls are bad on every sony game. sorry it doesnt make sense.
