I wished they'd just do me a favor and remove the sixaxis, put in the rumble, and charge $49.99. I really hope this info turns out to be incorrect...

yes - that is the MSRP, it will be higher in some places.

i really really wish they'd offered up some exchange program for people with many sixaxis. i guess there's still feeding the used retailer beast that is EBGames / Gamestop.

Well I just sold both sixaxis controllers on ebay for 60 and bought two DS3 controllers for 120 total....I guess I was milked 60 bucks? mehxTHExJUICEx

The dual shock exists to fix the dumb mistake sony made with the sixaxis. Sony has taken their lickings over it. But we want our rumble dang it! Ownage or no ownage. But you can't deny that its complete ownage. Cause it is.

microsoft isn't foolish or stubborn enough to go ahead and put the risk on the consumer FOLLOWING previous litigation and the THREAT of more litigation from the same patent holders. it's almost like sony knew they'd settle for something modest and then make a killing selling the new controllers to devout cows.

I rather use that money to buy all the GTA IV exclusive episodic content, and that's only if they have a fee. Rumble should've been there there first place.

Overpriced. It should have been $49.99 and Sony should drop the price of the Sixaxis to $39.99. I'm still going to get one (ONE). I'll probably sell one of my other controllers for $30 or something.

used to be a proud cow, got tired of the milking and sony hype / lies. now i support all console except the PS3. but littlebigplanet is really making me wish i wasn't. hopefully it'll see a PC release :P if not, i'll live without it.

I was thinking about keeping those two Sixaxis controllers while adding two new controllers to it, but when I realized I dont even play 2v2 in Madden or any of my other sports games I just said screw it and sold them.

I need to shipout my controllers today but I havent gotten my new DS3 controllers yet :(

I guess Rock Band will be getting a lot of gaming time.

Udsen - this is about principles, not fanboyism. As a consumer I don't like being lied to. If you've been follwing Sony since the start of their foray in to the gaming world you'd know well my reasons for doing what I do.

Sometimes principles outweigh the desire to game - and to be honest, do I need a PS3 when I have everything else? for what? MGS4: Geriatric stealth shooter where AI can't see you opening a garbage bin 6 inches when they're 2 feet away? FF? it's just a brand to me now, the games lost their spirit somewhere after 7 for me (my opinion).
