Milking?

This will happily be my 2nd controller and my first stand alone controller purchase.

Trying to turn around a good thing for PS3 owners is really getting old Xbox fanboys.

OmegaOrtega

dude. just cause its not milking in YOUR specific case doesnt mean that its not milking in general

RIGHT.

Which means they shouldn't release the controller at all?

It isn't milking. Controller releases, you call it milking, had it never come out you flame the controller for not having rumble.

You fanboys need to make up your minds.

EDIT: I can't believe in the wake of Xbox Live fans try to call releasing a new controller milking. Sony lost a court case and was too stubborn. Now it's resolved and they are releasing a new controller. And it's not like you are being forced into it to enjoy your game.. You can still use your alternate controller..

Xbox Live is a prime example of milking. P2P networking, with the owners of the console having no free way what so ever to play online multiplayer? Now thats milking, and it's making MS millions, for now.

XBL cost $50 a year for a lot of reasons that make it the best Online console gaming service out now.

Want another example of milking? This ones old, but Final Fantasy CC required you to have a GBA in order to play with friends. Oh and your friend needed a GBA too.

Releasing a new damn controller isn't milking, esspecially when they couldn't release the controller from the get go. Though thats entirely Sony's fault.

Every new PS3 40gb should have the new controller included in the box.

Yeah it's milking on Sony's part.

yes it is sonys fault. they could have released from the beggining but they didnt want to pay Immersion (the creators of feedback) royalties. so sony was playing it off like they didnt need it and that it was "last gen". which obviously they were wrong

wow, you are so clueless. when did i say they shouldnt release it? you seriously need to understand what "milking" means, cause its obvious you dont and youre making yourself sound ignorant right now.

Whatever fanboy.

I didn't say that you said they SHOULDN'T release it. But there are 2 options, to release it OR not to release it.

I mean damn, WHY NOT release the controller.

No my friend, YOU don't know what milking is.

Indeed, they were wrong and pretty dirty for that.

what is so hard to understand? they COULD have released it at the beggining but they didnt want to pay immersion for the royalties for rumble, so they made the BS about how they couldnt have motion sensing AND rumble in the same controller (which was an obvious lie considerind nintendo did it)

now because they didnt want to pay, early adopters who would have wanted a ds3 instead of a sixaxis get the shaft.

NOBODY is saying that they shouldnt release it now. i have no clue where youre getting that from, i fear you suffer from dyslexia

You are the one not understanding.

Duh they could have released it, but were too prideful to pay Immersion. And duh they made up BS lies. I'm fully aware of that, and even stated that.

Early adopters get the shaft? In a way yes, but are they being FORCED to buy it. Again until you see a screen that says "Please Insert Dualshock 3" Forcing the player to buy the controller to enjoy the game, then I do not see this as milking.

To each his or her own but I don't see this as milking.

Deceptiveness yes. Milking, no.

And for the last time. I didn't say anyone said they shouldn't release it.

It was a question I asked. I didn't outright say that you or anyone else said that it shouldn't release.

I fear you cannot read.
