By the way my comment had nothing to do with the visuals. I was strictly speaking about the gameplay. I should've clarified. Graphically it looks good. :P

Graphics look nothing special, textures looks washed out. This will annoy some fanboys but I beleive Rage makes this game's graphics dated. Also, is it just me or this game looks much much like Resistance?

I might have in a rage lol. Killzone 3 looks amazing, there's no denying, but to say Crysis 2 isn't looking as good so far, is a lie. This looks as good as this in my opinion. And remember, those videos shown of Crysis 2 are cropped levels for E3 demonstration purposes. They'll be much larger at release. :)

Killzone 3 over exaggerated EVERYTHING. Why can't people see this? :? Those sunbeams in Killzone 3 look like they'd slice you in half if you walked through them. :lol:

Looks amazing. :) Crysis 2 still looks just as good, as of now. Killzone 3 still has the best animations in a video game ever... I don't know how they do it. :|

Well I have no problem with console shooters, but this game was designed completely differently than Crysis 1 to the point where it no longer even looks like Crysis, and Yes.. I did beat Crysis and Warhead as stated in my original post... But Crysis had HUGE open environments and you could go about almost every situation differently. So far all I've seen is small corridor battles. I guess the lack of the original jungle scene is starting to get to me. I love NY(NYC resident), but it just doesn't seem to fit the game IMO.

It not a jungle but honestly im tired of seeing Jungles and stuff in Crytek games its a nice change of scenery, besides you can still roam around on the builidngs and everything, there wasn;t much to doo in the big huge open environments of crysis 1 anyway some fo the best action was ont he smaller settings with the exceptions of the flight sequence, the ship the battle across the airstrip in warhead, but those were heavl scripted and linear parts, which there is nothing wrong with that but the openess of a game is not very appealing when all you have to look at is more poopy looking foliage and the same stupid Korean soldiers that when they swim in the water jsut sit and yell at you.

Remember, we still have envoirements like this to see in Crysis 2. Following pic is probably PC because consoles could never do this. :D

After this years e3 and seeing games like Rage, Crysis is just ANOTHER FPS...it used to be 'the fps that looked so damn good' but now other games have caught up with it...its just another futuristic FPS. Im looking more forward to rage to be honest...

The console version of Crysis 2 isn't even the best looking game on console. It doesn't even look as good as Crysis (2007) looked when it came out on PC. Could have told you from the beginning... Don't Believe The Hype.

2. The game looks like it's fun, that's more important than graphics.

I see where you're coming from, but whenever I see Crysis 2 footage I don't really feel; as if it's Crysis. Maybe this game will be great and I will pay attention to users opinions once released, but right now the overall look of this game is putting me off.

I suggest you remove these because it seems to be clouding your vision. :P

Watch it from a technical point of view, not artistic. Killzone 2. Bad particle effects, bizarre unrealistic geometry, cramped field of view which looks like he's holding the gun agains't his cheek, compared to.. Crysis 2 Dynamic lighting, awesome particles which are effected by wind physics, realistic geometry, huge maps, particles emit light source onto envoirement ect.

For a console game it looks great. Stop being a graphics whore.

Edit: It looks better (or at least as good) than KZ3 or Gears 3.

Crysis should be played on the PC anyways.

I'm not impressed with what I've seen of Crysis 2 so far.
