It is good with long time between the generations, then developers maybe optimizing the games better and not fall back on hardware upgrades

Because most console ports are soooooo well optimized.

Had consoles in mind not PC, hermits just have to keep do what they love to do, upgrade their rig :P

PC have no generation, it is constantly evolving platform...

While it may look great....but judging by the gameplay footage I saw......yawn.

Good thing if it looks good, but what I want to know is if they're leaning towards a more sand-boxy game, à la Crysis 1, or a corridor one. If corridor, count me out.

LOL. Crysis 1's 9.5 GS rating says Hi. Not to mention the combined Metacritic score that trashes Crysis 2. Where have I seen more corridor shooter...oh right the yearly Call of wh*re duty with the same rehashed garbage over and over again. I don't need another endless copy cat Corridor shooter I want something different and unique and more open gameplay set at variety of different settings similar to Crysis 1 was.

They might focus more on PC this time because the first Crysis sold more copies on PC alone than Crysis 2 on 3 systems.

Arma 3 looks like ass. Rome 2, there's been no footage but yeah it'll look great. Metro Last Light is easily onpar, despite it being more linear than Crysis 2.

Day 1 purchase.

I haven't seen a 256mb GPU in many years, and 1gb is the standard, and newer ones are 2-4gb.
