Deus Ex doesn't, instead it has an RPG specialization system.

Crysis was originally quite similar in this regard.

In Deus Ex you focus into a style of play as you progress (gradually mind you, it isn't fully functional from the start) chances are if you are putting your skills into being a stealth master you are rarely going to try direct contact. There is no complete specalisation on the fly, even with augmentations.

It's pretty amazing that a game that came out 3 years ago still holds the graphics king throne. It will be even more amazing if it takes Crysis 2 to dethrone Crysis 1.

Goes to show that the devs knew what they were doing. And it shows how PCs are awesome.

It has 13 AAAE's compared to the consoles combined 18.

77 AAE compared to the consoles combined 45.

81 Ae compared to the consoles combined 56.

Plus, I never said they were better than those games, so I dunno where you got that from. I simply stated the PC has more exclusives than the consoles, which it does.

Deus Ex is still one of the deepest, thought provoking games to date. The writing, gameplay mechanics, story, is still unrivaled today. But it's definitely an aquired taste, and not for those who just want mindless (but fun) action, ie Gears, Halo, Uncharted.

So it's been about 3 years since Crysis pretty much caused fissures inside the gaming world with it's cutting edge technology, but has it finally over stayed its welcome? Has the time finally come for it to step of it's throne, and let someone else sit upon this prestigious alter which us mere mortals here in SW seem to worship so much? WILL it ever be dethroned in our lifetime? Only time will tell. For now, he's a fitting tribute I made for the legend that is Crysis! Many hate it for being the never ending ammo for pure ownage in graphic debates, while some praise it because they're actually old enough to work, and purchase a decent enough computer to run it at decent settings. :P

My gaming pc is only 1 year ols and I have money, I can afford all the good games if there were any, to me it seems there are not many good exclusives realeased. I have already reasearched and bought all the must have pc games, I am nit trying to brag but like I said I have money.

Yes, in your opinion. In my opinion Stalker - Shadow Of Chernoybl is one of the most mindblowing games ever created, and games like Killzone 2, and God Of War 3 are severely outdated. What is plain and simple is that that spreadsheet is factual evidence that the PC has more exclusives then the other platforms.

What's the point if they're in a genre you're not interested in? Flight sims for example..... The genre has been a PC exclusive right from the dawn of PC gaming.

Seriously though... there is no point in arguing about what looks better on consoles when this is system wars... It is a perfectly sound analogy to say what that guy said.

Crysis has achieved nothing, except pretty visuals....I swear this forum is filled with the wives of the devs or something.

Level design, was an afterthought... I feel like thats being generous. I would dare say, there wasn't any thought put into it... the entirety of the development time seemed to be spent on how "realistic" they could make it look.

I can't believe how many and how ridiculous the graphic whores are around here, that they are completely blinded by pretty visuals, into believing that Crysis is something its not.

The story doesn't get more bland and generic than Crysis' story... I don't even like saying "story" when Crysis is involved, because its about as developed as Doom's.

I don't see why I need to be specific about my complaints, when its just easier to say what is good about the game.... since the list is so much shorter...

Crysis has good gameplay, and super pretty graphics.... everything else is "BLEH"

Enemies = boring

lvl design = what design? devs give big area full of trees, grass & water.... the level's are not well paced, at all.

story = LOL, what?

Characters = ummm.... some military guys with cool suits. Nobody to care or give a **** about.

Sound = okay I guess, nothing great, nothing to complain about.
