Crysis vs Uncharted 2 graphics

Why HASN'T this happened yet?

I did a search, and nothing, unless my search criteria is wrong.

I had a friend make a comment that Uncharted 2 beats Crysis' graphics. I don't agree with him, but what do YOU all think?

Can we even run crysis on ultra yet?

its not even in the same league, not even on the same PLANET as Crysis, that said, its still a great looking game, no doubt about it. The gameplay is what matters, so i wish people would stop with the graphics threads............PLEASEnavyguy21

no but i played the first one, and that ones one of the best games ive ever played, the sequel builds on that and adds multiplayer.

nothing even comes close to crysis's graphics. the closest is maybe STALKER CS but still then no. it looks to be the king until the next technological advance is made for the pc. sorry but no console game will ever have graphics that can even come close or match never mind surpass crysis. its an impossibility.i mean unless it runs as a slide show literally

Oh, I'm sorry, were we ACTUALLY trying to compare the graphics in these two games?

Don't get me wrong, Uncharted 2 looks really nice - but it still can't come close (and on a technical point - framerate drops in trailers are not impressing me either) as far as gameplay goes, we'll have to see, it'll probably hold it's own.

Comparing a PC game to a console game is a little extreme and ridiculous knowing PC games pass any console game in graphics by far. Console to console is the more fair approach.

But not at max AA and AF.

Anyways, all the Uncharted promo pics are heavily AA, but the game itself doesn't seem to have any AA, so we need some real shots for comparison.

no not even close. the only game i could ever consider winning the graphic king title would be project offset (technically and visually speaking). its an entire new technology, and will have cinematic quality graphics in game.

I still don't understand how some people can say Uncharted 2 looks better than Crysis. Granted, U2 is a HUGE improvement but there is no way it (or any other game to date, for that matter) can beat Crysis. And I don't even have a gaming PC.

crysis 2 is also available on both consoles, so there will be a downgrade graphic then ?? i'm really going mad if this happend

ofc it will, you get medium settings and maybe hdr at high and even this still looks better than uncharted

Assuming you mean maxed out, then yes. I actually play Crysis at graphics beyond what the developers intended thanks to the texture upgrade, Cvar and ToD mods the community personally developed. All maxed out at 30 fps.
