Dec NPD.. PS3 outsells 360 by 50k units

Oh snap. Looks like PS3 will be catching up to the 360 within the next few months with that hugemargin of a victory :roll:

According to NPD numbers, the 360 had a 3.8 million unit lead over the PS3 by the end of 2006. Lifetime sales for the 360 in Japan are only like 1.5 million, at best, so the 360 likely only sold 200-300k in Japan in it's 1st year. That means the 360 would had to have sold 6 million units in Europe, double that of what they did in the US, in it's 1st year. No way man. The lead was 7 million, at best. Right where it is now.

The fact that sony overcame xbox's 18 month lead in the pal region in 18 months is proof enough that pal is a sony region. I know you dont want to believe japans numbers but they are a factual number, and gives proof that xbox lost to sony by over 1 million this year 100% factual

FYI: 360 launched world wide inDecember 2of 2005. The PS3 launched March 23 of 2007 Pal. that's not 18 months

Well if we are being honest, the Wii outsold ever non nintendo system combine and shatter the prvious record by overa million units. Its thr=e most relevant console it seems and much more than the PS3 or 360.
