Diablo III is the greatest game ever made

I FINALLY got to play this for the first time ever a couple hours ago and the game is just incredible. Amazing even. Incredibly amazing. The gameplay is perfect, the story is perfect, the graphics are perfect (my laptop runs it on med-high settings just fine), the characters are perfect, the atmosphere is perfect, the variety and enemies are perfect, the story is perfect, the gameplay is perfect, etc.

Diablo 3 is an epic triumph in the video game medium. A collosal achievement seldom reached by man. This gleaming masterpiece of virtual perfection is literally flawless in every respect! We already have our GOTY 2012 folks,

My favorite so far this year. In fact, I'll be heading back to it shortly!

I gotta say I really disliked the atmosphere/artstyle, it felt too cartoonish.

But then again, I wasn't very fond of this game at all. I played it for like 3 hours until I got so bored...

this is like cancer and aids combined.

I'm still loving it,a nd I think I'll probably be playign this game on and off for years.

I am loving the hell out of it.

I am in Act II of Nightmare mode now.

This is the first game in I don't know how long that I actually enjoy playing through a second time. I know I will enjoy Inferno and Hell mode as well.

I just find it incredibly addictive.

While it is a great game, it is a bit laggy sometimes.

Also, I certainly did NOT enjoy having my account hacked and all of my items and gold stolen when I was a level 25 in normal mode.

Blizzard needs to get their sh!t together and secure their servers. People are getting hacked left and right in this game.

It'll disappoint once you hit Inferno, it's just not fun. Cheap implementation of 'difficulty' just becomes an unnecessary cockblock and boring grind for boring gear.

Diablo 3 has a hard time beating Diablo 2 in my eyes, so how the hell can it compete with Planescape: Torment?

I don't actually think it's the greatest game ever. That title has and always will belong to Resident Evil 4 in my eyes. I just put that as the thread title to get a rise out of my critics who claim that I praise every single game I play as the best thing ever. If people would actually bother to look at my ratings they would see that's not the case at all. D3 really is an exceptional game though, granted I'm kinda late so luckily I didn't have to put up with the problems at launch. The experience has been smooth as butter thus far.

Diablo III is one of the most mind-numbing sequels I've ever played. If you think it's good than you have zero taste in games. It really is an awful sequel and pales in every way imaginable when compared to the $10 Torchlight.
