Yes because i only play and purchase games only if their on PlayStation ...Even if it were on PS3 i wouldnt bother with it
Besides i stopped playing PS1 games few years ago
finalstar2007
The PS1 would explode running Diablo 3.:P
I doubt it :P
Well it looks a lot better then any PS1 games and it has online MP.:P
u got rid of bayonetta :([QUOTE="freedomfreak"][QUOTE="NeonNinja"]
Diablo III is one of the most mind-numbing sequels I've ever played. If you think it's good than you have zero taste in games. It really is an awful sequel and pales in every way imaginable when compared to the $10 Torchlight.

I can get behind that.[QUOTE="Master_ShakeXXX"]

You seem like a pretty good poster. I don't see why you seem to think you need these ridiculous hyperboles to get noticed.

I don't actually think it's the greatest game ever. That title has and always will belong to Resident Evil 4 in my eyes. I just put that as the thread title to get a rise out of my critics who claim that I praise every single game I play as the best thing ever. If people would actually bother to look at my ratings they would see that's not the case at all. D3 really is an exceptional game though, granted I'm kinda late so luckily I didn't have to put up with the problems at launch. The experience has been smooth as butter thus far.
Dude.... really?
You want people to go to your profile and look at what you've rated videogames as opposed to just responding to your words in your thread? Really?
I feel that I've always been perfectly reasonable with how I hype/praise certain games. It's da haters who made up the myths about me loving everything I play. I bash just as many games as I praise. I simply don't make threads about the games I dislike becuase they are rarely worth talking about.
That's a good point FF Once again. You set my brain straight[QUOTE="Animal-Mother"][QUOTE="freedomfreak"] Is it on ps3?finalstar2007

Sure, must be why when you heard about a possibility of a PS3 port you were already getting excited about it.
Who are you trying to fool? Certainly only yourself.
Diablo 3, where a weapon valued at 5-6 million on the AH, costs $15-25 on the RMAH.
Pay 2 win Breh Breh! God PVP is going to be wonderful.
ReadingRainbow4
I'm pretty shocked people are paying those prices. I mean, the beginning of any AH economy is pretty loopy, but I thought most gamers were smarter than that. Or at least, poorer.:P

Oh comon man you give blizzard fanboys way to much credit. Iq's average in the 30's,Oh yes this is the best game ever.. yay looks so much fun

You're an idiot.
Anyways It's a great game, I love it, but I don't know about the greatest, I can't even say if it's my favorite this gen, but It's definitely quite awesome!
Story is one the worst I have ever endured, the lore from other games is the only thing that doesn't make this game the worst ever. " You look to kill my hell rifts, you'll never succeed! " " I didn't need that hellrift anyway!!"
Gameplays is flashy, but once you hit Inferno you are pigeon holded into a spec so fast your head spins, its 1000x worse if you happened to play a Barb like me, or a monk like my bro :(
Looks, I have yet to get net to my rig, so I'm playign on my lappy an even with low settings across the board at 1366x766 it still looks good, its flashy an things blow up.
Bottom line, if its not fun to play, an its not at all in inferno. Its not fun to read, like FF7, FF6, Mass effect 2, Bioshock or Deus EX, BUT it looks pretty, that leaves us with FF13 pretty much eh? Just with **** DRM all over its face.
WRPGs Am fail confirmed?
I think bioware was hired to work on the story.Story is one the worst I have ever endured, the lore from other games is the only thing that doesn't make this game the worst ever. " You look to kill my hell rifts, you'll never succeed! " " I didn't need that hellrift anyway!!"

First of all, Diablo is an action game with a few RPG elements
If RPGs were like that, there would not be RPG gaming at all
I think bioware was hired to work on the story.ReadingRainbow4
I'm not the only one who noticed a big difference from Mass effect 2 to 3 me thinks :p Either way, " You seek to destroy my catapults, you will never destroy my catapults!" " I didn't need those catapults anyway!!" Said the Lesser Prime Evil Famous for being a Commander. /facepalm
It's definitely one of the better co-op experiences. Inferno with four people is A LOT of fun.

You're right I enjoy playing an ARPG like a Mario game. Running past every mob until I can get to the boss who then drops nothing of value, but lets me get to the next stage. Thats epic pure fun!
Haven't played it and have no real interest in doing so. Not knocking the game at all, I just have alot of other games to play and will for quite some time.
Majora's Mask is BGOAT though, no competition.

I'd imagine the fun comes from the teamwork and tactics required to make it through the game.
Form the games you seem to like this would not appeal to you, according to your profile it needs NIS 12 year old anime chicks or be in first-person with a gun.Oh yes this is the best game ever.. yay looks so much fun

You an me played different games, from Normal to Hell on a Barb you run up press WoTB, and use Frenzy to kill everything. In Inferno, you kite, an kite, an kite,an kite, an die. There is no winning, no tactics, there is get hit an die, or run away and live.
Jalior, Morter, Invulnerable is always so much fun to "strategize " how you plan to run around them while dieing only 10 times rather then 40.
This. I thought the game was amazing too when I first started playing, but after Act II... meh.Last week it was batman now it's diablo

Inferno requires a good team with good team work. I don't think it's possible solo to be honest and without some type of voice communication.[QUOTE="Master_ShakeXXX"]

The strategy comes in from playing the AH. Honestly the gear needed to complete acts 3 and 4 of inferno aren't on the AH. You have to play to find them. My DH has 120k dps and I still struggle with act 2 inferno and upgrades aren't on the AH. Have to play to get them. It sounds like either you suck or your build sucks. You have a solid DPS, you should be able to solo the game just fine with a DH...
I picked the last one because RPG is a hard to define genre and as much as I LOVE DIII, it is not the best game of all time. Same goes for DII. Ocarina of Time is the best game of all time ;).
Was really fun for about 30 hours and then I lost all interest in the game and now it's pretty boring =/

Not in the slightest. It's fun but I'm pretty bored of it already, click stuff until it dies gets old pretty quickly and the looting is pretty much ruined by the auction house, what's the point of me finding my own stuff when I always get tons of crap underpowered weapons and can buy something a ton more powerful on the AH for super cheap.bobbetybobYou can always rip people off on the RMAH like I do, that's pretty fun. I already reinstalled LOD.

Fair enough. Most of the criticism indeed seemed to be directed at the launch problems and the online-only issue. Haven't played it myself yet. I haven't even played Diablo II. It just doesn't appeal to me for some reason.
I think bioware was hired to work on the story.ReadingRainbow4Blizzard's writing ::cough:: lead story: Chris Metzen ::cough:: is utterly abysmal and it's not been getting better. BioWare is substantially better at writing, some of it is even great (like mordin), even if you want to hate on them Blizzard is leagues above in terms of bad.
The only teamwork or tactics is $. The difficulty is simply more monster(blue/yellow) affixes(one more per difficulty), more damage output, higher hp it's not difficult, it's cheap. The difficulty is literally a text file update and it wasn't even tested.I'd imagine the fun comes from the teamwork and tactics required to make it through the game.
Master_ShakeXXX
It means very little when a game like Deus Ex got a 8.2 here and it´s not only considered one of the best games of all time but often seen at the top of many lists everywhere, same with Diablo 2 that got a 8.5 here, and yet, look at the difference that made, both of those also won countless industry awards,so the GS score means nothing really lol.lol an 8.5 greatest game ever? lolno just no.
