It's all right there, the proof is in the pudding. It doesn't matter what a website says, we are looking at real life now. And it's obvious to anyone what the far better looking games are, it's UC and there is nothing on 360 that can touch them.

Why is this so hard for you to accept? It doesn't mean your 360 is bad, it just can't do jaw dropping graphics like PS3 can. If you want jaw dropping graphics just buy a PS3 and or a PC and get over it.

The funny thing is that gridlock, a Gears 3 multiplayer map, doesnt look any worse than those campaign U2 and 3 vids :P

Anyway.....if it was true (or obvious), it wouldnt be hard to accept, but honestly cant see that difference fanboys keep pointing! 360 and PS3 games look at the same level to me, and apparently to DF guys, LoT guys, critics in general.

I wouldnt be surprised if the next 'console graphics king' was a multiplat (again). Especially if this vid ends up being actual console version:

They declared Witcher 2 on 360 to be better than the PC version. It was the Enhanced Edition vs the Vanilla edition, but they still said it. That's why LoosENDS made that super thread about it.

Of course I'm sure the PC enhanced edition will be better, but it still goes to show that DF isn't the word of god like fanboys think.

No. I can garuntee you it's not as impressive as a lot of people seem to claim from any amount of preview videos they've shown.

In STALKER, characters are alive. They have lives. They move from place to place, with things like weather, time of day (certain mutants are more active at night or in dark places; controllers never leave their caves, etc), number of anomalies present (imagine, if you will, a ball of flame that just flies around at random and sets you on fire, or a shimmering spot of air that is nearly invisible but will rip you to shreds if you step in it), and so on and so forth.

They make decisions. They have tactics and plans. STALKER has no pattern recognition element at all. You can get a general idea for how an enemy will behave, but that's about it. This makes the game a significantly harder experience, particularly if, like me, you decided to spawn a bunch of extra monsters just to see what would happen.

LOU = Everything you've seen before, but with 10x the "Cinematic" approach forgetting the point of a video game to begin with. Then again, that's most of Sony's exclusives anyway lol.

but HR had it easy. The game is basically 100% scripted, it hardly has any physics or AI so it has tons of resources lying around just to dedicate to the graphics and still, the game has pretty bad animations and screen tear.

But this:

Uncharted 3 chapter 13 Godlike level design and crazy physics and lighting.

and this:

Uncharted 2 chapter 13 Insane draw-distance which is one of those things that are like super taxing on consoles and to top it all it has a freaking helicopter, water effects with reflection and refraction, everything casts its own shadow, insane amount of moving objects everywhere with motion blur, rock-solid frame-rate with v-sync, seamless set pieces, amazing animations and character models, enemy AI, etc. This is one level that will be remember for years to come. This is the graphical showcase of the power of a current gen console. Vid is kind of low quality but that was the best I could find.

Now those are impressive graphics.

Not really. If you look in the background after a while most if not all of the train ahead of you to a certain point is just moving 2 sprites. And so are the background. The backgrounds are just high res images that move along with you. And honestly I completely forgot about the train level much less most of Uncharted 2.

I played it an IPS monitor because let's face it, IPS > LCD > LED, and the only thing it did was show me just flat everything was. Besides the main 4 characters in the game (Ethan, Madison, That detective, that woman the detective dragged along, Something Jaden because the voice acting was terrible.) everyone else felt flat. The environments and objects had NO life to them and everything was plain.

Fact of the matter is that just because you have a subjective opinion on something doesn't the make objective one false. Because even thought you've been shown countless screens that completely blow heavy rain much less any PS3 exclusive out the water in terms of visuals, you still retain the idea that;

"And I still thinkHeavy Rain looks better than those pictures."

That's right, you still thinkthey do. Even when I owned just a PS3 before moving over to PC I was still impressed by the graphics but not blown away. Seeing the Witcher 2 for the first time? Blown away. Battlefield 3 maxed out let alone even on medium settings? Blown away. Skyrim with it's enhanced and superior settings on the PC? You bet your ass I was blown away. I was even more impressed by New Vegas than I was by ANY exclusive on the PS3.
