Do You Have a Problem With Female Lead Characters?

Usually.  It's not because the lead is a female, it's just because the game's usually suck and go out of their way to show that the lead character is female, and then they even **** that up.  Like Tomb Raider.

But if it's like Metroid then i'm all for it.

I always play as a dude in most rpgs. Its just the way that I did things when I was younger and was a transplanted idea.

Its more of an acquired thing that can be hard to kick because I get caught up in my characters edginess more than anything. Masculinity, free choice on it and the fact that I used to lift quite a bit back then so it gets to me in some weird psychological way.

If the game forces me to play as a female than so be it, I don't care at all. I have no issues with it and understand that the aspect of being a woman might be touched on a little too much in the game, but it won't bother me at all since if its enjoyable, its enjoyable.

I sure am,but both of those games/series have pretty mediocre protagonists,JC is pretty cool and all but as a character,he´s nothing special,and the Stalker protagonists are almost non existant for most of the games,aside from a few key moments.

The best characters in Deus Ex were the AI´s(Deadalus,Icarus and Helios,even Morpheus was pretty interesting) and a couple of humans here and there,but most were really wooden and fairly average,though I really liked Alex and a sidekick of sorts,Page and Simmons were fine as well.

I rather have a male lead because females are always taken as a bit "fragile" in most games and things don't usually happen to females because it would be "cruel" and some civil rights movement from women that have nothing better to do with their lives would arise.  :|
