Does anyone still believe that Uncharted 2 looks better than Gears 3?

From what I've seen of Gears 3... Foliage, lighting, shadows, explosions,shaders, high resolution alpha effects, it takes it up a notch.

Even more shocking is that the player models are higher poly now! Just look at Cole!

But this is system wars... Uncharted 3 matches it IMO. What's your opinion?

Personally i think gears 3 looks even better than UC3. Way more polished.

Gears is the best looking game on consoles now. Uncharted 2 held it for 2 years, quite impressive. Gears 3 is a looker let me tell you. I haven't played it, I'm not a fan of the games, and I hate to admit that its a better game in any way than Uncharted 2, but it looks better than Uncharted 2.

I'm more of a Forza fan... But I've been keeping that fanboyish side of myself out of the official Forza 4 topic. Gears 3 looking spectacular is more of a win for Unreal Engine 3 games in general... We might start having all multiplats at this quality.

Ask after 2 months when this GeoW 3 hype here on SW wears off and people start to have clear minds again (just the same thing that happened to Crysis 2).

Or you can just pop in Uncharted 2 ina PS3 and compare. From what I've seen after playing Gears 3 campaign for a good 2 hours... Only the UC3 beta looks comparable now.

Gears 3 does look better. It´s incredible how campaign looks with 4 player coop and so many things happening at the same time!

I think it looks better than Uncharted 3 as well

Killzone 3 > God of War 3 > Gears of War 3 > Uncharted 2 > Killzone 2 > Crysis 2 > Uncharted 3 IMO.

I hope the footage we've seen (screenshots, gameplay vids etc) are jokes.

From what I have seen Gears 3 looks better than Uncharted 3; waiting for it to come out to make final judgement. Gears of War 3 is def better looking then Uncharted 2, it would be sad for MS if it was not.

Gears 3 has no AA whatsoever. has framerate dips as low as 24 fps. stereoscopic 3D looks terrible, too.

It's amazing how much the tech has improved in 2011. From that pic Uncharted 2 has inferior shadowing. Nice photomode pic from the MPBTW.

gears 3 looks great.it brought the grfix difference between exclusive games to a minimum IMO.and it's not fair to compair games with this difference in release date.

a score is given to all factors of the game not only grafix and also they are based on the release date expectations.maybe if UC2 was released in 2011 it would't get all those high score.some people belive that gears2 loooks better than crysis 2.at the end it's a personal matter.

UC2 does not have 3d. UC2 AA is pretty much useless, it really is. Its deferred rendering game and MSAA is more like hack in Gears 1 and 2 than proper 2xMSAA. Anyway, Gears 3 can dip to 28-26fps for a second, but then again it only dips when there are alot of smoke and other alpha effects on screen that are actually full res, compared to UC2s and other games. I would take 2fps dip from time to time to see such good smoke effects any day of the week...

We don't actually know yet but Gears 3 does look amazing for a console game.

It needs a PC version to compete with many PC titles at all however, Gears 1 (PC) for example.

Rather hard to discredit 1080p when you switch directly between it and half the resolution.

Stupid poll, since the PC choice is the right answer. It is not an opinion :P.
