Well, at least we have Witcher 2 and Diablo 3 to look for. DAO2 looks like it is going to becrap.

Looks like fun but the combat looks extremely shallow, if they wanted to make a HnS why not actually make the A.I more dynamic and allow them to block/dodge and such and put less of them on the screen. Might actually be better bioware.

I´m not enjoying what I´ve seen so far but it may still be a decent game.

Those graphics aren't "super hot" Bioware. How long before a Bioware game gets good animations as well?AAllxxjjnn

I agree with the animations thing, even the KOTOR MMO is stiff as hell. What's up with their animators?

I think its a good departure, seems like it plays mroe like how Jade empire did on the Xbox last gen. Looks awesome i cant wait for what Bioware has in store for the Story department.AiurProtoss

Oh yea I forgot about that game for a second. If it plays like that,but with actual smart AI then im really looking forward to it.

The PC version will of course the the best, but I'll be getting the PS3 version.

On a side note, I have to say that I like the old design for the Dark Spawn much better. Game looks good, though.

Looks alright . Im not a fan of turn based gameplay so this should satisfy me .

I'm slightly impressed by the change from the original DA to DA2. Now if the story delivers then I think that will make up for anything that the gameplay lacks.

The game also looks nothing like the Origins, i get that they are trying to appeal to a wider audience but i thought that was Mass effect's roll, i wish they had of just built on the original dragon age and not changed the formula up so much. it looks like they have improved the graphics but it's completely superficial if the gameplay has been watered down to nothing :|

i myself loved the first dragon age because it was a proper RPG, but it looks like it has been consolized :(

isn't there a strategic view at all, even on the pc version?

i loved the strategic and tactical elements from the first game.

Oh... some new info just came in, those who followed the game already knew that the narrative is framed and narrated by Varric who is being questioned by Cassandra, it seems that this footage is the "exaggerated version", as David Gaider ( the lead writer) said that Varric might sometimes lie and make up stuff, so the huge sword and the ridicolous blood might be false, and as you will see below "when the normal gameplay kicks in"

That's pretty much SOP around these parts.

Not to dismiss the comments, of course-- which are a nice mix of noth negative and positive, even if the negative people are much louder (and occasionally insistent that only their opinion matters)-- but the leaked video is a short part of the demo's opening. You don't get to see Cassandra's reaction, and the transition to the "normal" gameplay... which is part of the point, really.

But until we put that out there, expect people to dissect what they see ad nauseum, overreact, accuse each other of overreacting, etc. That's kind of what the internet is for, no?

i get a very dynasty warriors vibe from that video, hack and slask.

looks like it is taking a more contemporary approach with its combat, more streamlined and less traditional. however, this is bioware after all, Can't wait for Dragon Age 2.

I hope the gameplay follows the previous game. Meaning the consoles can have their 3rd person as long as PC still gets their Birds Eye view and higher emphasis on tactics..alextherussian
