Ok so this right here has me sold. I loved the 3rd-Person view so this is just great to hear. Add a P90 in their and I would cry of joy.

I'm on the fence about 3rd person. Combat is one thing, but fumbling around trying to pick up a small item is another. They'd have to fix that before I'd really use it.
I want to get this game. I loved Fallout 3 so much and its probably one my favorite games of all time, hopefully New Vegas can dethrone fallout 3 and be my fav game.

For me only 3 of the 5 were worth it The Pitt, Point Lookout and Broken Steel. Wouldn't say they were worth as much as a full game though. I believe broken steel is the one I have where you get the Tesla cannon. I think I will get New Vegas and hopefully the dlc goes down in price or find a good deal for Fallout 3 GOTY.

Originally I was not gonna get it and was not very excited, but after seeing all the cool stuff Obsidian is adding, I cant wait! It seems like ALOT more rpg elements in this then Fallout3 had, also a much better story and characters.

Indeed it's not reputable. They had someone called "Obsidian Entertainment" post on their site that they didn't even give them a review copy and that the whole review was fake.

Yeah I heard earlier today about it. Doesn't affect me though, because by the time I'm done with all the content on the game, it'll be out everywhere. I'm getting the 360 version anyways so it doesn't matter to me, but I'm more interested in knowing what the DLC is. If anyone knows, please share. :)

The only official word we have is that they only said the FIRST DLC will be exclusive to Xbox LIVE. Odds are it's only timed exclusive (when isn't it?) and that following DLC will be released on all 3 systems simultaneously.
The only midnight launch I ever did was Mass Effect 2. I just couldnt wait... Im most likely going to head over to best buy tomorrow after work and pick it up. I have it preordered.
I would only go to it to see if that many peopel actualy showed up.
I'm totally going to it, don't have school the rest of the week going with friends. I don't think anyone will show up though lol. Actualy, this comment was in regards to a Kinect thread i was posting in. Sorry for the mix up. On a tangent side note: I dont think many will show up for Kinects launch.
