LOL, this game was a slow burner for me. At first I thought it just looked too similar to Fallout 3, but as I saw more footage I really started to warm up to it. The whole Vegas vibe, the weapon variety, the perks, the factions, etc. It just looks far more appealing in every way that counts, despite looking the same visually for the most part. I know I will dig it more than I did Fallout 3.

Are there going to be more cities, or at least more "alive' cities? I know FO3 was more about being alone, but the cities that you visit in the game were really boring imo. Nothing to really do or see for that matter. I would like either more cities, or at least a few really well designed, active cities. Any news on this. I assume there will be since this is some time after the war and Vegas was not really hit with the nukes.

There's a live stream of the game happening right now if anybody is interested. Watched a couple of minutes, but turned it off because I didn't want to spoil anything.

I already preloaded it on steam so I am ready to play when it comes out. Anybody else already preload it?

Might pick this up down the road.

Not expecting a reincarnation of Fallout 1&2,but it will be alot closer to those games than FO3 was.

Hopefully it will have some good writing and better morals

Hardcore sounds pretty awesome, it'll make the survival aspect all the more realistic :P

PS3, 8.5? why?

i'm pretty sure that a patched fixed all the problems from Fallout 3's PS3 iteration a few days after it's initial launch-and that was 2008. developers overall are definitely more proficient with PS3 hardware.

Yup, you can store all sorts of things. Whether any of it is rendered is dependant upon the PS3 hardware.

Still, I know your posting habits and thus this is just a continuation of said habits.

Agreed, the pedigree behind this game is amazing to say the least now how do we zap 48 hours away so I can start playing the darn thing!!! Im crawling out of my skin.
