really? thats nice, i thought it was around the 25k, cool.

Shepard from mass effect is 20-25k and shepard look REAL, but then again good hair takes alot of polys so, alot of that could be in drakes head lol.

Forza fleshing out to look great and the staeady stream of information keeps the mouth from salivating for more. I am concerned though about difficulty, racing games always have the stigma of being perfected because the AI (even on expert) lays off too much while staying on their line. Forza 2 had this problem and every racing game short of GT3 had this problem. I really hope the pressure system isn't abused as a game beater. I would like to see the inclusion of variable AI in every race, that would make the race feel more natural as apposed to you vs.the field. SUVs will be very out of place in this game and in my opinion shouldhave been omitted. So far Forza is definite buy for me as a big car and racing fan.

I heard Master Chief in Halo Reach is going to be 100k polygons :P

The amount of content seems to be very big, and the painting should be fun. I'm going to make a zebra-mobile that's painted white with black stripes.

When Toyota was testing the LF-A at the Nurburgring they had it painted like a Zebra :D

I dunno, FM2's physics are better than GT5s in many reviews/hardcore sim guys opinion, and forza 3 only improves on that some guys even said,"I thought I was playing a PC sim!"

I dunno I got GT5p recently and I think it plays better. Each car feels more different, and the steering feels better imo. But then its easier with feer cars and no customisation...

Eh.. Forza 2 completely trumps GT5P in physics, IMO. All of the local trackday guys that I know of are definitely on the same page when it comes to that, too - we all loved GT3/4, but since Forza they've finally done physics right when it comes to how the cars in question act in real life.

And I have a question. I'm not a racer fan, so I may not be fully in tune, but I understand that some of the cars in the FM series have computer-controlled clutches by design (either an automatic clutch or a twin-clutch--and twin-clutches synchronize when you shift so there's no power lag). Racing games have never had accurate transmission models (case in point, you can use an automatic in any car), so I'm sure you'll have the same options (ie auto, manual or manual+clutch) regardless of your choice in car. That said, I would assume the automatics in cars with dual-clutch or sequential transmissions will be significantly faster than cars with "standard" automatics.

too early to say. Wheels and pedal sets with clutch didn't come out too long ago, not many games support them but they are starting to. I think turn10 should stay as true as possible if they are going to do it at all: meaning a dual clutch transmission with padel shifters would shift faster than a human would with clutch.. But we will see. I don't think its that signigicant as someone said no racer has an accurate representation of this considering you have the choice in the first place

That was pretty funny but Im suprised such a fanboy coment was actually allowed =S

But yeah brilliant preview. Whilst Gt5 may have better graphics and physics Forza 3 does have a lot of content.

It was going so well until you said better physics :roll:

I agree.

it should, considering how long its taking for it to come out, but it wont. the online content for fm3 is going to be unmatched. sp is up for grabs though, unless you count customization in that category, then fm3 wins there as well.
