The problem is us 360 gamers aren't getting anymore games. Why can't they make a new Gears and a new IP ?? Sorry that was pretty ignorant on my part. 360 is not getting any exclusive games, before you rant on about how there is so much multi plats coming out why did you buy the 360 over a PS3 in the first place ?? For exclusives obviously. You can't deny it would be nice if MS weren't so cowardly with there money. No I have not played Halo 4 but the game is looking worse by the minute. Custom classes, Random weapon spawns, Weapon and Spartan camoflauge, Forerunner vision, Perks, Armor Abilities returning, choose your grenade type, no beta, Sprint, pre order bonuses galore, online pass. This would never have happened if Bungie was still developing the series. It sounds like gimmick after gimmick after gimmick, with a touch of COD.

Hmmm... I'm a huge Gears fan and even I would have preferred they wait til next gen to start the prequel saga. Who knows though. Maybe this is actually going to be a 720 game... probably not though.

Well this doesn't really excite me personally, if MS wants to sell me an Xbox they are going to have to offer me more than just Halo and Gears.

But if this makes the fans happy than who am I to judge? Though I doubt Epic is making this, they are working on PS3 and next gen games now.

that blows my scocks off if true because logically it would mean that they need to support the 360 for at least another year because we know that MS doesn't release their big games until the end of the year.

I want to see how this plays out or if it even ends up being true because there are rumors of PS4 dropping next year and I really don't see MS supporting 360 while tring to cash in on a new product....that means, if sony puts out their new console, I don't believe MS will wait to release theirs and still support 360.

I'm all for another Gears -- Hell, I'm probably one of the biggest Gears fans out there, but this is definitely premature. Gears 3 has some serious longevity. I was hoping they'd take a break from the franchise for 3 or so years and let 3's multiplayer continue to shine as I can see nothing but this title suffering from diminishing returns. I'm still all for seeing what this is all about, but this really does nothing but confirm to me that Microsoft really doesn't have anyhting original up their sleeves. Here's hoping E3 surprises me yet.

You know this? How? Do you have a time machine?

And similar format is easy, architecture isn't that big of a deal. Wii is fully BC with GC even though the Wii has different architecture (it has to for Motion Control). It's just more difficult to go from DVD to Blu Ray formats for games, it is expensive to do that. Which is partly why PS3 launch price cost so much.

Blu Ray to Blu Ray format would be easy and have virtually no cost attached to it.
