Gamespot chooses Hitman Absolution and Wii U as winners of E3 2011 - SWM @ E3

Don't give a f*** about WiiU (which i actually guessed would be called that on Neogaf a month ago) and the 3DS.

But Skyward Sword looked amazing from what little they showed and hearing the orchestrated music was great. Really liked how Zelda (?) looks in this game. Will we get a full trailer/screens later today?

EA gave a huge backing to the WiiU and with that I give Nintendo the win. Even if you don't like the WiiU the 3DS has a ton of great games THIS year

I believe Nintendo had a good conference, about on par with Sony's. WiiU is definitely interesting and I am glad a lot of 3rd party devs are taking a shine to it and supporting it with current gen releases. I knew the reports of Nintendo Cafe or Beam were exaggerated, it's not really a next gen system I mean it complements the Wii and 3DS as it can connect with them. Gotta love Nintendo's creativity. Now surely all gamers will be happy except those who expected Nintendo to have a new system to rival PC graphics, and to such gamers I say, come back to earth.

Reggie just confirmed Wii u is a console and its 1080p.

Was anyone else dissapointed by Mario 3d. I dont want to jump to conclusions but it looked on rails like a 2d game but in a 3d plane. I wanted a huge 3d game world like 64 and Sunshine, this was probably my biggest dissapointment of the show.

To everyone. Those games EA showed were definately not running on Wii U.. Even if by some chance they were they were last second ports of pc versions or something

If NINTENDO doesn't have anything to show on their brand new NINTENDO consoles then NOBODY DOES

Yup my favorite part of the conference. Can't wait for Super Mario, Kid Icarus, and Mario Kart.

After thinking about I would grade each conference:

MS - F

EA - C+

Ubisoft - D

Sony - B-

Nintendo - B

They had a worse conference than Sony, better than MS. Disappointing conferences all around. The WII U motto: Buy new console, play current gen games.FIipMode

Was it just me or did Nintendo kinda ignored the good old Wii for this E3. I mean, after all, it's their main console right now, and will be for another year or so.

Guess it wasn't a mistake to skip out watching the ninty show. Really that much of a letdown? From what I see here, they only showed and explained a few things. I gotta say, E3s have been bombing lately. They were never downright amazing, but usually worth watching if only a little.

At least bombing in my views. From a business standpoint, I guess they didn't do too bad to show of the tech. I wish for sony, their lineup would stop being leaked every year. I could only imagine the joy of seeing starhawk as a surprise, for one thing. Oh well, at least EA and Ubi didnt do too bad, imo.

Judging from the Conference, Didn't see their Name.

Judging by Games, I'm sure Activision will release a Call of Duty Collection or Something like that for the Console.

Now There is no Rockstar support or Epic Support (THIS WILL HURT NINTENDO) at this time. So yeah....

E3 did pretty much ended well here in SW---

Sheeps : Happy with the showcasing of Wii U with a third party support and more control gimmicks.

Cows : Delighted with $249 price tag of PSV.

Lems : Happy with the strong kinect support of MS. That means the 2nd spot of this gen may be as well secured due to boost in sales from the casual market. Expect more of Sales Threads for the coming months.:P

Cool that it's 1080p. Hopefully they reveal some more stuff about the console and not the controller this week.

they would have been better off showing the CONSOLE ITSELF playing a tech demo of an HD Zelda game in 1080p for like 30 seconds.

No way Luigis mansion trumps that game by miles. 3ds hyped like it was this powerful gamecube level machine yet all they have shown looks mediocre. The mario Kart demo looked same old same old with pixelated graphics, zelda and star fox are remakes. And what the f*** no Kingdom Hearts or Paper Mario Trailer. Vita outshined the 3ds this week.

They're Nintendo, so they're allowed to do exactly what Microsoft and Sony did yesterday and be praised for it. :P
