Yep, those are some shitty games.

Damn that is low. Don't get it, the MP is very good.
Don't some say the same for Destiny?
No, Destiny is shit through and through
Just asking, don't bite my head off.
Can we find last years top 25?
They had a different format for Game of the Year last year.
Yep, those are some shitty games.
What would your top five for the year be?
I'll go on and list my top games this year too, I guess this thread is as good a place as any to do it:
We all know what opinions are like.
All I can say is I only made it 5 minutes into Cars before I sold it. Halo 5? The amount of time I have played is in the days.
To each his own.
1-20 list packed with hippie indie titles confirmed :p. I love hippie indie-titles though so I'm looking forward to it!
How much you wanna bet Her Story makes the top 3?
Halo 5 at 23? Wow, I thought the FLOP couldn't reach any further.
They did say it was one of the best shooter this year. I don't think it's competition this year is going to be anywhere in the list based on what they said about halo 5.Rainbow Six Siege may get into the top 25 list also, but COD BO3 and Battlefront 3 won't probably.

I don't think GS used the Top 25 format last year
GameSpot have started their annual countdown toward their Game of the Year for 2015. They will be revealing five games every day, and today we got #25-#21. Here they are:
25. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
24. Evolve
23. Halo 5: Guardians
22. Heroes of the Storm
21. Project Car
Thoughts?

@Ant_17:
Maybe? I don't know.
The competitive multiplayer in Destiny is pretty bad. The class abilities throws balance completely out the window and there's a huge lack of game types. Also the absence of custom games means you can't get a group of friends together and play each other.
Unless you mean co-op which also has some glaring issues, namely a lack of variety and content which has allowed Bungie/Activision to charge $80 worth of DLC to its fanbase within a year of the game's release.
Meanwhile Halo 5 has free DLC updates that doesn't cause a divide in the community.
It's not weird to see Syndicate in there imo (I mean it's even #25 below the ''mighty'' Evolve), as Kevin VanOrd one of the most people who really understands and adores this series (and not just a blind fanboy, he disliked Unity for example) said it was super good and probably his favourite since AC2, most of the people I saw that hated it were just ones who didn't care much about the series or didn't even play it. I myself love it so far..hope it stays that way.
Gamespot's GOTY awards, what a snoozefest the countdown will be. At least the winner can add a sticker to the cover saying Gamespot's GOTY award, that should sell at least one more copy lol.
I wonder how many people on here actually played that many games, if any above the single digits (personally I lost count after 42, so around 50 games this year)
Pretty embarrassing that lems' most anticipated game couldn't even make the top 20. I guess this completes the flop that was Floplo 5 lol.
Pillars of Eternity better make it into top 5 at least
Wasn't even nominated for PC GOTY. I doubt that.
Not surprised since Gamespot has fallen off the the last few years and especially now that Kevin is gone.
Not to mention they didn't even list Fora 6 and Halo 5 on the best xbox one games of 2015. No one takes these lists serious.
Yup and not Starcraft 2 and Pillars of Eternity on PC list either. They gave us same list for every platform with one or two exceptions.
Gamespot list of top games is the same as ESPN ranking the top 25 basketball players, they are both bias and a joke. What do you expect from a website that did a year 1 review of the Xbox One and all buy 1 person in the review after they ranted said they had no desire to even buy a Xbox One cause it didn't have any games that interest them, really? Joke list period.

You would know, what with you having played the game so much (or at all) and all.

I played about a round dozen games from this year, from this year.
The total number of games I played this year (including counting ones from previous years, but not counting replays) is well over thirty.
@charizard1605:
1. The Witcher 3
2. Fallout 4
3. Splatoon
4. Ori and the Blind Forest
5. Yo-kai Watch
I haven't played much of Tales of Zestiria and none at all of Xenoblade Chronicles X yet, so can't say about those yet.
Is Yokai Watch really that good? Been debating on pulling the trigger on it.
@charizard1605: Yeah it really puts a smile on my face while playing it. It's no Pokemon, but the game is amazingly polished. The town you live in and explore is huge with lots of npc movement and a ton of sidequests.
At first I kinda frowned on the battle system and thought it was gonna be too easy, but a ways in it actually becomes a little challenging. You can't just let your Yo-kai do all the battling themselves, and have to put some thought in to what you're doing and sometimes there is prep work involved.
You'll get addicted to searching for all the critters and upgrading your watch etc.
Snazzy little game.

Huh. I'll probably give the demo another go then (didn't stick with me the first time I tried it) to see if I feel any differently about the game this time. The battle system is what really worries me about the game, to be honest- glad to hear it requires some actual thought put into it, then.
Top three should be
1- The Witcher 3
2- Bloodborne
3- Fallout 4
If this isn't the order, their list is poopoo BUT 23rd place for Halo 5lop is spot on, no worries there, its frustrating to some but they need to understand that Halo is in a huge decline since 2012.

Fallout 4 shouldn't even be in the Top 5.
Splatoon should be at number 3, I'll take Metal Gear or Xenoblade on there too.

You have completely de-evolved into a trolling fanboy. Sad...
How else can you explain Halo 5 dropping out of top most most played game on X1 only a few weeks after launch?
I know how.
The FLOP.

No. HELL NO. Fallout 4 is awesome. Did you play it on ps4? No way in hell you'd be saying that if you were on pc. Been playing it every single day since release and i'm not even tired of it. Amazing game with problems.
@silversix_: I played it on PS4, yeah. But no matter what system you play it on, there's no getting around the very big, very fundamental game design flaws that that game has.
@StormyJoe: how did Gamespot look bad over the MCC review, when they were the only site that actually managed to call that game out on all of its shit?
@StormyJoe: how did Gamespot look bad over the MCC review, when they were the only site that actually managed to call that game out on all of its shit?
Because they held off reviewing it for a week in order to try and let 343 fix the online problems.
Well Halo is a B series now so that explains it.
I really don't think uber-fanboys should be commenting. Is there anyone who has ever been in SW who would possibly think you would ever say anything positive about Microsoft or Xbox? Ever? I think not.
Let's all not forget that they actually waited for the MCC to have online play before finishing their review. GS ended up looking worlds better than all the other sites that slapped a 9 or 10 on it before the game ever landed in people's hands and the game went online.
