That looks excellent. But I gotta laugh at people making this out to be HUGE. Even Need For Speed has had damage for quite awhile now.
Hurrah for features lots of people had years ago. What's next? Online?

Is it just me or does it look like the damage has no effect on the handling of the car? Only watched the first video but after he got pushed into the wall the the hood flew up he had absolutely no problem speeding back up and staying ahead of the other car. Cosmetic damage is good and all, but shouldn't we be beyond that now?
Someone correct me if I am wrong and show me where I can see actual performance problems too and I will say sorry for my comment.
I was thinking about how that would work out too, but I figured it would turn out like a NFS to where you would be pressing the Start or Select button to "re-appear fixed" like an Arcade; which would completely be a turn off imo. I don't wanna be driving and some guy appearing out of no where crashing into him. If the steering and tires change dramatically, how would you be able to fix it?? I don't wanna be driving around having my steering wheel pulling to the right every half second.
The thing I want is a little bit of damage to the boundaries of where other vehicles have drove into.
Did you ever play Forza 2 online? It isn't much of a problem really, about 90% of the time when you have damage to your car it is your fault. Most people would like to finish the race too. If you have the guy driving backwords to cause wrecks, the rooms had an option to make it into a ghost type car so you just go right through him.
