No haven't played any Forza games. Yeah that would definitely be a good idea playing online do to people being retarted. I haven't played GT5: P online yet do to my internet sucking so badly. How do fix people like the once you mentioned?
Nocturnal_Speed
Majority of the games I played most people just laughed at it because it was their fault. Going into the pit would normally fix your car if I remember correctly, but you have to make it there first :P
Well, this is disappointing to say the least. *sigh* http://ps3.ign.com/articles/101/1015537p1.html First: Kazunori was still unwilling to give a solid release date for Gran Turismo 5. Although, Kazunori explained, as Gran Turismo PSP is right around the corner, its upcoming PS3 counterpart shouldn't be too far away. That sounds like "sooner rather than later" to me. The next detail Kazunori touched on was regarding damage models. I can confirm that not every car in Gran Turismo 5 will sport damage models -- it will only be select sets. However, Kazunori has yet to decide on a finalized list of featured car types for damage support. Lastly, it sounds like Porsche will not make it into Gran Turismo 5. As disappointing as this was for Kazunori, Porsche signed an exclusive arrangement elsewhere and will probably not be included. It looks like Porsche fans will have to wait.bleehum
Hmmm... well guess we play the waiting game again and see how it all turns out.
Edit: I guess this confirms no performance damages either because how fair would that be in a race?
It is huge for GT fans. It's never been in the series before. That's like saying: "Even Killzone 1 had online play before Bioshock did. Haha at Bioshock 2 multiplayer, this is nothing new."That looks excellent. But I gotta laugh at people making this out to be HUGE. Even Need For Speed has had damage for quite awhile now.
Hurrah for features lots of people had years ago. What's next? Online?

But there has to be a reason for it, granted that they had a hard enough time getting licenses for some cars in the game. They still don't have the porche one, considering how reputable the GT series is, its possible that some manufacturers don't want their cars damaged. Nevertheless its still a disappointment, but i doubt damageable cars and cars with no damage will race each other.Well, this is disappointing to say the least. *sigh* http://ps3.ign.com/articles/101/1015537p1.html First: Kazunori was still unwilling to give a solid release date for Gran Turismo 5. Also, I'm pretty sure damage settings can be modified. You always like to make things a bigger issue than it actually is. "Damage was done last gen". It's been done since the original Playstation, but the fact is, GT has never supported full damage. You are the kind of person to say "well GT has no damage" and then when they show this "well last gen games had damage", nothing will make a fanboy like you be happy. So shut up and stop ruining it for others.

I would not be talking if I was talking about the bu bu bu"day/night cycle:cry:", it works both ways.
OK I watched every trailer so far. The damage is very impressive! Graphics look really good, but I honestly can't tell if it looks better or worse than Forza 3. These are off screen vids, aren't the graphics suppose to look better? Trees are still fugly as hell, wow . Other than that, the worst of my worries are now vanquished. Announce a track editor and It's a wrap for me. More than a wrap, it's a bundle :lol:TREAL_Since
I will admit, this is damage control... buuuut

wait, wait, wait. let me get this straight. lems get flack for posting screens and videos of forza 3 that cows determine to be from replay, but when one cow posts a video of an actual replay, it deemed by them to be gameplay? the game looks great, i'm not saying it doesn't, all i'm asking for is a little consistency. unfortunately this is system wars and that may be asking for too much.
The graphics and damage were great, but my hype is going to die down if damage is only on certain vehicles.

No, I'm pretty sure thats what happened. Its not a negative for Forza 3 to not have those in the game, but its a plus for GT5 to have those included in the game. Its that simple. I was damage controlling that tree remark you made lol.My problem with damage is everyone online is going to treat this like burnout.Solid_Max13Doesn't work that way. You hit someone else's car, you're liable to get beaten up, too. And before anyone asks, police cruisers have reinforced bumpers especially for PITting.
So far as is known, only some 170 of the cars are confirmed to have damage modeling. Whether it's physical or cosmetic, we don't know yet. As for the rest...as they say, stay tuned. The graphics and damage were great, but my hype is going to die down if damage is only on certain vehicles.

wow. reading comprehension fail. i said that when lems post pictures and videos of what cows deem to be replays they get flack for it. but when cows post actual replay videos they call it gameplay. that video was clearly replay. the camera angles are a dead give away. at least lems also post actual gamplay videos when talking about forza.

I stayed up at 4 am posting updates on the "MS Conference" for those unfortunate of being able to go to the liveblog sites for what ever reason, yet you think I'm a fanboy. I even said damage was done on the freaking PS1. My NFS: High Stakes has had damage long before GT has, and some how I'm a fanboy. Yet YOU come in saying "well hur durr, who cars hurp hurp", "white car is made of iron, snurf snurf", Forza 3 demos had damage on low as well, so what are you trying to say? Play GTR, you can turn the damage settings to low, what's the point of the comment? You just want to come in on your stupid high horse, starting a ruckus just for your fanboyish pleasures. None of your other 24 posts have been relevant to anything and they have only been to say "but this right here, is better than that".
Put the drugs away kid. [QUOTE="AktionJakson"]
That actually looked pretty bad. Cars moving pretty unrealistaclly ... furthermore, the graphics don't even look so hot in real time. It looks like a SLIGHTY better PGR.
Forza prob won't look that amazing in game either but it will probably look better than that.
redskins2156
I never understood why people feel the need to call someone a kid. Personally, I believe it gives a false sense of maturity, at least over their targeted individual. I apologize for going off topic. However, I see this happening here all the time. It's really quite sad that instead of offering an intelligble response, one automatically is behooved to offer nothing more than that.
On topic, I stand by my statement. The graphics aren't really spectacular. It's really not far off from anything currently on the market. That's what the major hype seems to revolve around.
