GTA V Game Informer Info going up right now!!! 3 protagonists confirmed

Not a big fan of multiple protaganists or needlessly big worlds. Hope it isn't just empty.

Yea, I'm going into pessimistic mode until this game comes out to avoid possible disappointment. It does sounds interesting though.

All of these promised are nice and all, but I want them to actually make the game fun to play. Something that GTA4 lacked.

It's Game Informer. Game Informer overhypes anything. Still cant wait for the PC version.

Just heard this news and didn't see this thread till now. This info is really really exciting to me ad actually ignited the hype in me :D

It does sound a bit weird on paper but I think the practical application of 3 main guys and 3 interlinking stories will turn out great and R* will deliver. I can't fvcking wait now

Narrative, characters, story and world wise GTA IV is one of the weaker ones for me. It's engine though is a thing of sheer beauty. The physics and animations were unbvelievable at the time (little rough in spots now) but I can't even begin to imagine how lifelike GTA V is gonna be.

I'm actually finding my self agreeing with SNIPER on this one.
While I liked GTA4's story and past GTA's random minigame chaos type stuff It still doesn't change the fact the games were just go here sell drugs, go here kill people, go here escort...etc which is one of the reasons I disliked the series as a whole and simply enjoyed certain aspects.

As for that hasn't rockstar said in the past that this and this is bigger then our other game...yet I've noticed they never are.

Only time i recall them saying this is before Red dead came out, they said it would be their biggest world to date and it is.

Man this game is gonna be heavy.

I LOVE huge worlds so this will be a must for me.

I like how there's 3 protagonists without them shoving co-op down our throats. I'd like co-op but not shoved down our throats like RE5 and if it's good to play alone.

Time to dust off the ps3 whenever it comes out :P until pc version.

Reading the way it works, I'm kind of shocked they made no mention of co-op. It would play perfectly with three player co-op I think, maybe if it was even just on a mission by mission basis like Dark Souls (where co-op was only available on a level to level basis), but man... it could work amazingly.

True, but it wouldn't really matter to me since I play 99% of my games solo. Minus the occasional fighting game.

What I'm saying though, is that co-op would be good IF it isn't the main focus like the Halo series and (to an extent) Borderlands 2 where the option is there but it's still a fantastic game alone too.

GTA IV was 16 square miles wide.

Red Dead Redemption was 28 square miles wide.

RDR was significantly larger than GTAIV and SA.

If Rockstar is to be believed, that means GTAV will be over 57.9 square miles large.

There's no way this game won't have crippling voids with the size of the world.

Yeah this is my most looked forward too game now. How can you not be excited?

All those games combined? This is a joke right? What can we possibly do with so much space(unless they have a system for self created content, like Daggerfall)?cfstar

One thing i REALLY hope they do is iron out the graphics on PS3. The jaggies on RDR and episodes from LCS are terrible I can barely play through them. I heard it was better on 360 but Ive never seen it in person

I'm reading through the article now (psst check your favorite torrent site) Im excited. I feel like GTA4 got an unfair rap (from users not critics) I really loved the detailed city and just spent a ton of time checking the nooks and crannies and listening to the excellent soundtrack. Cant wait to see the radio stations in this one

Not buying it unless it's released on PC, isn't buged out with horrible preformance and your not glued to a cell phone.
