GTA4 Xbox360 DLC 10 hours each confirmed

Why won't you pay more. There are countless games for both consoles that you can beat in 10 hours, that cost £35-40 and you won't pay more than £5. :roll:

it's a lot better than paying for some stupid collector's edition and getting an artbook and a cheap metal box.

Heres what I dont understand about the Naming Choices for Fanboys. Arent 360 owners getting Milked more than PS3 owners because MS is making you pay money if you want to play online and they make you buy Recharge batterys if you dont like regular ones? Not to mention all teh Reinvions of Chip sets and stuff you have to purchase again if you want a least amount of chance to get RROD. MS is milking its consumers way more.

First of all, I was only joking man, people are way too serious nowadays, secondly, Im not a cow nor a lemming, I have both 360 and PS3 and if you checked for my original post, I said Im getting the PS3 version.

Got a monthly subscription to the site, so not really that much. And I dislike the DRM Microsoft has in place, so I don't want to download anything to my HDD for the 360 so I haven't ever paid for any content on the 360 except Heroic Map Pack, and decided that wasn't worth it anyway :|

I will stake money that the DLC will be significant enough to justify the cost. I have faith rockstar will produce something of value.

Now if this was EA releasing this content. Then no I would say the DLC will be crap. But Rockstar will release some worthy content.

It was a great game, counting how many hours to play games is silly IMHO.

COD4 and GeOW gave the best experiences when I played the story mode and they both were about 5-6 hours.

I bet that if you have s PS3 you would love the game.

Saying that 10 or 15 bucks for 10 + hours of game play is not worth it is the point. And all I see is a bucnh of cows downplaying or belittling that fact.

If you have a PS3 then it should not concern you because you don't have a choice.

I never bought a game special edition to get useless stuff with it and never will, so no.

Okay, the article clearly states (which is a past quote made BY MS back when they first announced the exclusive DLC) that Microsoft confirmed it would be 10 hours long. 10 hours of what? according to the Sam Houser interview conducted by IGN a meer 3 weeks ago, there isn't even anything DONE on the DLC yet. This is MS trying to pump up hype for their version, nothing more. Makes sense, this is the OXM afterall.Shensolidus

It is called an agreement between Rockstar and MS as to the length and value of what is being added.. It was speculated a while back ago that this was the case and now it is being confirmed that it will indeed be 10 + hours of content..

Anyone with common sense realises 50 million paid by MS for this content is not chump change for extra missions or extra weapons etc.. It will be a significant piece of content.

It was a great game, counting how many hours to play games is silly IMHO.

Actually, id be an hermit not a cow, ps3 is just my secondary system, i play way more on my PC. And i'll get a 360 some time later when more exclusive games that interest me are released so it's not like i hate the console.

That said, I don't pay anything at all for bigger aditional content than that on PC, and i just never will pay anything for DLC unless it's a full expansion pack rather than minor aditional content like missions.

This is all about envy is all. Most of the cows in here are in fact jealous of the fact that the 360 is getting this content. They can downplay it all they want but the fact is, it doesn't go away.

If you are a 360 owner and enjoy GTA you have a choice to extend the gameplay even further.

Bioshock is example of what Im saying, people said it had 20-25 hours of gameplay, it was the worst nightmare I had in gaming, lol, really the first 3-4 hours were interesting, after that all of its weakness showed off, I didn't even finish it.

Matter of fact Bioshock was worth every penny and if you never finished that game I pity you for missing out on one of the best games last year, recognized by many many gaming sites.

Paying for 10 more hours of gameplay in a game that already has virtualy endless gameplay, no thanks. I'll stick to the ps3 version.Tykain

MS paid for more than just exclusive DLC with the 50 million. How about a multi-plat release? Yeah, the 50-mill sounds about right if you add that in. Btw, when it comes to creative content that isn't even in the planning stages (when the agreement was made) there was no way to determine the length of each DLC. It is impossible. The only way you could do is if you took 10 hours worth of content in the original game design and then packaged it as add-on DLC, which is something R* DIDN'T do because according to their executive producer that as of 3 weeks ago, the DLC was still on paper and no where near being fully worked on.

No, not just my opinion, alot of people talked and created topics about how much of a disappointment was Bioshock.

And I don't care much for scores btw.

Anyways, lets get back to the topic, the DLC has no description so far, we really don't know if it is going to add a whole new story and city, or just repeated side missions for 10 hours, that all Im saying.

It is about the whole experience, is it something new? or is it something similar to what we are going to play for the core game?
