Halo 3 single player = BAD

I think you'll enjoy Episode 2 a lot. There are a ton of really unique situations that are a lot of fun, much better vehicle sections, and plenty of juicy story to chew on.

Heh, Halo 3's singleplayer is almost as good as Halo CE's IMO, and that's probably my favorite SP FPS together with HL1 and AvP2 (and you could maybe throw in some Deus Ex into the mix :P).inoperativeRS

Scarab was boring by the second time around. ;/ IMO at least. When two of them dropped down I was like "Aww--- again?". The best thing about the SP to me was that I had an open area that I could drift in with the Warthog.

honest to God, it's downright mediocre...the only reason to get Halo 3 is the great multiplayer..who else agrees the single player is bad and the multiplayer is much more entertaining?

Halo 3s single player was medicore no doubt about it. I can't comment on Halo 2 since I was to busy playing multiplayer to be bothered with the single. CE had a great single player though.

When I compare Half-Life 2 to Halo 3 I realized that the single player from Halo 3 really is just mediocre. It doesn't compare to other shooters like HL2 or RE4 simple as that.
