Again, you don't get it. You can't say the game lacks /anything/ based on screenshots or because you assume it'll play like Halo 2. You haven't played the game and it could play differently then the other Halo's. You're just owned, you never want to admit.

no i am saying that it will generally be a disappointment overall for everyone who plays it. You just can't beat the originality and the greatness that is the original Halo. :'(

Then why does Tribes have the next Halo on the back of the box?:? It doesn't have to do with chronology it has to do with respect. Tribes knows it can't hold a candle to Halo, that's why it has compare itself to Halo, to bring in Halo gamers.

Don"t count halo 3 as a flop until the game is out and people actually complain that it sucks or that it's not as good as Halo 1 or 2. To say that it will disppoint gamers before it's out and based on zero fact is not only premature but show's your fanboy nature

Porting Halo to PC has been a blessing for all of the people who seeked to play the original Halo online, and also generated more money to Microsoft, and no Halo fan of the Xbox version complained due to the difference in dates. Also, the modding nature of the PC game, allowed Halo 1 fans to create new contents and missions that kept the original game alive.

-You say Halo 1 was superior than Halo 2. This is an opinion, which is shared by 50% of the community, however, there is also the other 50% of the fanbase who thinks otherwise. Just because you have an opinion it does not mean is a fact.

1) and look how bad that Halo 2 multiplayer turned out. It phailed big time 2) people didn't bother buying the XBOX because Halo was available on PC. It was the XBOX's "only worthy of buying the console for a game" 3) the 50% who think otherwise own a 360 looking for dumb shooters. 9.7 > 9.4 4) no i am making a prediction based on specific facts present in Halo 1 and 2. It's everywhere on System Wars 5) I know this as a gameplay fact. Because Resistance > Halo 2 and Halo 2 = Halo 3 :'(

Yeah halo 2 multiplayer failed so bad that not one ps2 online game even came close to the amount of players halo 2 had.

I'm not try to present you with my opinion, I'm just trying to get you to understand your flawed logic. When I said that you couldn't judge a games success on screenshots and because you didn't like part two, how is that opinion? You really can't judge a game unless you played it, that's not opinon, that's fact. That's like calling it an opinion if I said "you can't judge a book by only looking at it's cover", it's fact because you really can't judge the story if you never open the book.

Well I agree with you that you can't state your opinions as fact, although yo_foo was technically making a prediction in his first post...

Clearly the majority want to disagree that Halo 3 won't live up to expectations (myself included) but there is the possibility that it could fail (like TP)....I think that's what yo_foo is getting at.

People hated Halo 1 too. Just because a handful of people thinks the game sucks, doesn't mean it's a disappointment for all gamers. I don't understand your logic when you say Halo 3 will disappoint, you have no fact and no basis to say that. im well aware that any game can flop,but his first post didnt really sound like a prediction..he made it sound like he knew what bungie and microsoft were going to do with halo3 and NOBODY really knows what bungie are really doing differently with halo3 because they havent told us much of anything.

I can't wait for Halo 3. I think Bungie will do a fine job. Many people feel the same way. Many people will most likely buy Halo 3. The probability of sales being superb is almost nearly a given.

One lone troll, with no facts, bias, and blindness to the obvious will not affect anything on this matter. And thus, the dust speck cried sadly into the huge universe... "I MEAN SOMETHING :'(". :lol:

Anyway, what is everyone else excited about so far from what has been shown? Personally, the new enemies are making me drool. The style, the story, the action... man, there's too much! GAH! Is it the release date yet?! All this talk is making me impatient and giddy now! :)

im well aware that any game can flop,but his first post didnt really sound like a prediction..he made it sound like he knew what bungie and microsoft were going to do with halo3 and NOBODY really knows what bungie are really doing differently with halo3 because they havent told us much of anything.

Well do you think he would of got a reaction like this if he'd asked the question of whether or not Halo 3 would be successful?

I don't check profiles much. And since SW is full of so many different opinions from so many different people it's hard to remember certain people.

You post here a lot though and are logical which is why I remember you now though.

That doesn't make sense. Yo_foo's opinion is considered valuable otherwise this thread would of not been so large.

And you can't call someone elses opinion incorrect.

and you can't say your opinion is fact..which is all this guy has been doing ..saying halo3 is going to fail to meet expectations because HE hated halo2 and HE thinks bungie arent going to change anything about halo's gameplay.

Well I agree with you that you can't state your opinions as fact, although yo_foo was technically making a prediction in his first post...

Clearly the majority want to disagree that Halo 3 won't live up to expectations (myself included) but there is the possibility that it could fail (like TP)....I think that's what yo_foo is getting at.

Off topic a bit but you should make your name more visible in your sig, I couldn't remember your name till about 2 days ago.

thats what happens when there is a lack of originality people could grow tired of the game. I mean if something is repetitive don't you grow bored of something? :'(
