Killzone 2 looks DATED next to Halo 4Reiko2K1Haha, way to quote a pre pre alpha kz2 pic to support your argument. KZ2 has a lot more effects, particles, and detail on screen, there's nothing dated about it. Halo4 like all Halo games looks lifeless and boring in comparison.
[QUOTE="brofists"][QUOTE="worknow222"] Dude, My minds has been opened to the crap of naughty Dogworknow222Naughty Dog craps gold! You however are still stuck playing the dog crap in a box known as Halo & Gears lamo! So the joke is on you and your fellow xbots! Your now my favourite Insane fanboy first it was GPU king But now it's you Congratulations, Your like a child thats insanly angry so fun to watch yet hard as hell to not step in and stop, I have yet to see you contribute anything constructive yet you play high standard as if you are always right. LOL don't kid yourself son, go read some facts on graphic technology while you're at it.

Game informer said themselves it looks amazing in-game. Cuz it's Not on PS3 is the answer me thinks. :PEh, that Halo 4 screen looks ingame, and it looks better than Killzone 2

It's called AntiAliasing.... Halo 4 uses FXAA
Direct feed Mass Effect 3 Xbox 360:
I guess that's a bullshot aswell?

Hmm, partially true though at launch in 2001, Halo CE was very much about both amazing visuals & game-play.halo was never about its graphics

FXAA would show shader aliasing everywhere, yet it's totally non existant here. Also if we are to have it your way then you must also accept the game now renders at 1188 x 668 res since that's what the shots are rendered at. These shots are most definitely super sampled using 24xmsaa and downsampled to this abysmal res for gameinformer's website. Nothing new here. Just don't want you to disappoint yourself later on ;).

Yeah.. I'm not sure what he's talking about, halo was regarded as one of the best looking games ever when it came out.

I have no plan on buying Halo 4, I don't even have an Xbox 360, but it's pretty clear that they're ingame screens. But anywho, lets not derail the thread.

How am I derailing the thread? It's about the "amazing" look of Halo4 isn't it? Well it looks like ingame but technically they are not ingame at all.Looks pretty sweet.
Still can't forgive them for ruining the multiplayer like they are going to.
Wasdie
It's funny. If they don't change the multiplayer people will complain that it's dated. If they do change the multiplayer people complain it's ruined.

This, the multiplayer has to change to prevent it becoming stale.Still can't forgive them for ruining the multiplayer like they are going to.Wasdielol. Saying a game's multiplayer is ruined before even seeing it and playing it. Classic.
I said the SCREENSHOTS look generic and bland and that killzones visuals completely overshadow these lackluster screenshotscampzor
But if Halo 4 was a PS3 exclusive, every post after the OP would be calling Bullshots on the pictures linked...

This, the multiplayer has to change to prevent it becoming stale. That's not true, Quake3 retains it's funness w/o changing. If Halo 4 was a PS3 exclusive, the cows that infest this thread would have already crowned it graphics king, and would be hyping it as the second coming of Christ. But if Halo 4 was a PS3 exclusive, every post after the OP would be calling Bullshots on the pictures linked...

Do I see the DMR and the BR?
vs.
__
It also looks like they have taken out the Metroid Prime-esque in the helmet look when you play multiplayer.
[QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"]
I like the look of the DMR
*pic*Stevo_the_gamer
Who needs the DMR when there is the BR! :D
I will school your ass with dat der DMR. Or we can use both to gang up on Wasdie and make him rage-quit. :DThis may be a stupid comment but it looks exactly like the other halo games. I mean the graphics are arguably only slightly better but to me there is nothing to be excited about. Cortana looks stupid, I prefered the lack of interest in her and how she was just a program not some "vunerable" looking person.
For sure if you are a crazed halo fan or someone new to the series this might look alright, but there is nothing here that looks new or seperates it from the past games. If you put all the halo games from 2 to this one you would think they have done a COD. But thats just my opinion.
Here is the old BR, just for a frame of reference. I think Halo 4 looks a lot better, it's a hefty jump.
[QUOTE="RoslindaleOne"]DMR vs BR playlists. R3FURBISHEDwhich looks like it could be a little difficult without a hitbox What do you mean?
It will be glorious.I will school your ass with dat der DMR. Or we can use both to gang up on Wasdie and make him rage-quit. :D

I think every single Halo game is very distinguishable. You'd probably have to be a fan to appreciate some of the smaller, finer details but the bigger ones are far more apparent.
And Halo 4 looks completely different from anything Bungie have done so far.
