That's exactly how I felt about Killzone 3. And just something about the actual gunplay felt strange to me. The guns sounded nice and all but the aiming and hit detection was weird, and there's always this odd pause between me killing somebody and them dieing, if that makes any sense.

I always feel that pause, but I liked the feel of the guns. The sway, and the pop each gun had. It's the lack of speed, and lag between hits(well what feels like lag) that throws me off here and there. jg4xchamp

What I think is noticable in those screenshots is the difference in lighting. Difference being HDR, which KZ3 lacks, so you get those overblown whites. I also think when you do comparison its nice to take similar settings in games, not one being interrior and other being exterior.

I think its also worth noting that KZ3 doesn't have SSAO like Halo 4 does. I think what should also be added when making comparison is the fact that one is stritctly corridor shooter.

You can't play KZ2 like other shooters. It has a different flow to it, which threw me off hugely for the first couple hours, but it feels great when you retrain yourself a bit.Cherokee_Jack

Yeah but most often you're just a floating assault rifle zipping around the map and occasionally dropping halfway. In KZ you feel sort of like a person.

It's probably just presentational trickery, but I liked it.

Cortana was like the one respectable character in the series. She had some sass to her, was well voiced, and didn't say cheesy sh1t like "To War!". Then they decided to make her half grave mindish for a bit in Halo 3, and are continuing down that route. Not a fan of that move. jg4xchamp

This is pretty OT, but I didn't think she was crazy enough in Halo 3 for an AI suposedly going rampant. By the time you reunited, she seemed pretty cognizant at the end. I bet she'll be just fine in Halo 4, disappointingly enough. IMO Halo 3's story could have been better and more impactful as a finale if Cortana ended up "dying" rather than some of the other side characters.

I wasn't much of a fan of Cortana's new look, but I thought the same thing about MC's new look as well so maybe I could get used to it. Same with the elites (I have a feeling they're going to be called by their actual name for the most part).FireSpirit117

Anyway, enemies have been more or less confirmed to be Forerunner and/or Precursor.

With a couple of Elites and grunts thrown in for good measure. Sentinels are likely too and perhaps the Flood.(probably not though)

If there is one smart person working at 343, just one. The Flood will not be in this game. 3 halo games are proof enough that the Flood suck.
