Halo reach is the best fps shooter.

Ive recently played through Crysis Warhead, and the SHOOTER part of that game is second to none, its fantastic, D1zzyCriminal

I agree, Warhead (and Crysis) are truly fantastic in this department. Especially on Delta difficulty the game is very challenging and rewarding.

The strength of games such as Crysis is that, while their content may not be anywhere near as overwhelming as Halo's an sich, the gameplay is so inuitive, varied, and dynamic, that it's enough to give the game a lasting value that well exceeds most other shooters this gen.

I did. It was fun but it felt too much like Halo 3. I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Ever since I got halo reach. I have never been able to put it down. I'd say its the only fps shooter I will ever need for the rest of this generation. It has so much replay value. I dont think I will need to come back to system wars ever againbecause halo reach won the war for me.

As far as SP goes I believe Bioshock,STALKER and Crysis are better.

I don´t really care about the MP but there´s CSS and TF2.

Then again,I haven´t played Reach so take that with a grain of salt.:P

You see my point! good man. I admire Halo for its vast amount of tools and scope it gives you. But I would rather have all of that in another game that isnt so... meh.

Even if you strip away all the tools and options it gives you, Halo is still one of the best FPS and has some of the best gunplay, balancing, variety and controls.

Let me try...UT3,L4D,R6V,KZ2,...I can name a few more if you would like? I have not played Halo Reach, but I have played all the others and bought them day one launch. NONE of them have been as good as Halo CE. Halo CE is still GOD of Halo games.

As an overall FPS Doom 1, Quake 2, and Killzone 2 are better imo. But that's just my opinions, I won't start a thread stating them as facts because that's even more stupid than poll here.

Preachy? Not really , just giving my opinion on something I know a little about. I did actually watch my oldest boy and his friend playing Halo Reach this weekend. So I at least "watched" it. And besides dont most people give opinions before knowing anything at all..;)
