[QUOTE="VoodooHak"][QUOTE="Iantheone"] If you were to compare Reach SP to HL2, HL2 wins. Compare MP to TF2, TF2 wins. You mad that the OB has 5 games, all better than Reach for the same price (Less now actually)Iantheone
And yet you're cherry-picking.
HL2 loses in MP, TF2 loses in SP.
Even with your criteria, it's still highly debateable that HL2 wins in SP. It has a great story, yet, but lacks 4 player co-op, a competitive/co-op point system while adding yet another level of replayability with skulls.
TF2 has great basic gameplay to be sure, but it loses in that it lacks the customizabilty of game sessions a ranking system and the level of stat tracking that keep people coming back for more. Do we even want to get into Forge?
All lose to Reach for lack of the robust replay Theater and community sharing features that allow players to share movies, snapshots and custom game types.
Mad? Hardly.
Reach as a whole compared to each of the games individually is, of course better. But if you compare it to the whole package the OB is better. If you also take into account all of the mods that HL2 has (Which also include coop ones) HL2 still offers way more re playability Reach is a good game, but its hardly the best.Oh, so you're talking PC. On consoles, it's no question that Reach is better. But then again, what does it say about the game itself if add-ons are required to give the game all the features and the level of replayability that Reach has?
But whatever. My "best" list changes all the time, especially the top spot. For the foreseeable future, Reach is at #1.
