Considering all the content that comes with it, it seems like a fair price.

The price doesn't bother me since the value seems right. My issue is with the actual game itself. I lost most of my interest in it after the E3 presentation...

There's no arguement there, but for those who already have the mythic/legendary maps, it's a price barrier if they just want the ODST campaign.
This is true. Here's hoping the ODST content is enough to justify the price for those people.[QUOTE="Mordred19"][QUOTE="The_Game21x"]

This is true. Here's hoping the ODST content is enough to justify the price for those people. It seems like an avoidable problem. MS is going to be releasing full games for purchase and download from XBL. Selling the ODST campaign on its own doesn't sound unreasonable for people who want more options with buying it.
....So?The Halo fanbase appear to be quite fanatical with regards anything named Halo, the developers of this could charge what ever they liked regardless of what was in the box and the Halo fans would buy it.

I agree with you both. I don't have the halo map packs, so it is a pretty decent purchase for me.Another rip-off considering bungie themselves said that they do not consider it to be a $60 game from the start (google it and get ur own link, lol) Also they included the beta to increase sales, they know its not worth it.
Still gonna buy it like L4D2 too tho :x

Or how about they included the Beta with a Halo game because the people who are going to buy Reach are Halo fans, so..... the more Halo fans that get a hold of the Reach beta, the more and better input Bungie will have on the multiplayer.
I mean if it has the camapign length of games like wanted or terminator 4-5 hour campaigns, but has the MP hten it's really a toss upI dont think we can actually call it a rip off until we actually play it no? I mean how can you determine that a game of all things is a rip off until you actually play it?

I was mad at first but I still might buy it. If firefight mode is fun, The three exclusive maps are any good, If the campaing is over 5 hours long, plus the beta so Its a toss up. But if it was $40 then I would have no doubts
It is a standalone. Bungie confirmed this. They made huge improvements to the game which will be more of a full game than an expansion.I know this is old from last week but what do you think of Bungie's defense of it? They should have a standalone version without the mp part of halo 3 on another disk .....most of us already have that!
