Has PC only had one AAA exclusive title since 1998?

Only a few suspensions for spam will convince most of them, many won't accept any words or explanations, no matter how convincing or reasonable.

For some consolites, it was a grand opportunity to bash the crap out of PC, and to considerably shrink the PC exclusive library, they won't stop playing that angle that easily...

it'll certainly help but it won't necessarily put it to rest. same deal with my "the pc is part of system wars" thread five years ago. it made a big difference but didn't stop everybody.

Well, there'll always be a few stuborn ones, but this MAC affair didn't bring any change to SW as whole, all remains the same, so the whole thing will be forgotten in a week or two.

I'm just saying a few warnings to the most vocal bashers would speed things up a little :P

Wasn't here when PC became a part of SW, but that was a permanent and signifficant change, this MAC stuff is nothing.

But you can install windows on a Macbook

Actually, most innovation happens on the PC...

Everything this console gen is known for happened on the PC a long time ago, stuff like HD (720p) and online gaming, for example.

Also, one of the biggest reasons why CoD is the most popular MP shooter on consoles is 60 FPS, which is a PC standard for on-line gaming, one that provides very smooth and responsive gaming experience...

No, PC games has low standard, broken games get released all the time and devs think "its ok can fix it later with patch". The bad is consoles going towards that direction too :cry:

Actually, that "release now, patch later" attitude is present in the entire gaming industry this gen, and it's even present on console hardware itself, like the 360 RRoD issue, since the console has clearly been rushed into market without proper stress testing.

It has nothing to do with the PC, it has to do with the desire for quick revenue and profit among publishers...
