how do xbox 360 gamers feel about paying $250 for xbl?

I'm already paying $60 for ALL of the games on XBL, why would I want to pay up to $15 a month more just for one game? It's not even an MMO! I don't mind paying for MMOs if they have the gameplay that can justify the fee, but charging for a CoD game which is a clone of the last 3 models? Hell no.

I have yet to even go past the $50 mark for Gold. I think at the most I've spent $5 for 5 months of Xbox Live.

I was given 3 Months of Live free from a friend who didn't need it and I had a 1 Month Trial from when I first got the Xbox 360

Well I only pay £26 a year for mine and it doesnt bother me in the slightest. Even at the worst cost of £4.99 a month its not a lot in the grand scheme of things. I want xbox live so I choose it, its quite simple really. Just because something is free, itdoesnt make it better, as the UK users know you can watch Champions league football for free on ITV but look how bad it is compared to the pay per view of Sky Sports HD.

I guess I shouldnt wantthe newPorsche 911 when I can get a nice cheap Hyundai instead, I mean they both willdrive me where I need to go, but there is obviously no reason I would want the faster, better looking Porsche!

Besides, I have no reason to cut that 91% in half. My point was how unreliable and meaningless a poll in SW is. Cutting the results for no reason will not change that.

With that said, I think a huge amount of people wouldn't pay for Gold if Silver what ere enough to play online. But there's no way to know how big that amount is judging from SW polls.

I don't know about him but on 2006 paying $600 for a PS3 felt great for me.

Price of stand alone blu-ray player on 2006,up to $1,000.

Price of a top of the line console on 2006 $400 without online play.

Both up to $1,450 wiht online play,and i got all that for $600 that is great,considering that the other top of the line console is also full of sub HD games games.

Ive been on xboxlive since it was first launched and have no complaints.I use it all the time and i get more than my moneys worth out of it.It does annoy me a little that they raised the price but its not a huge price leap,i barley notice the price as it is and paying a little more wont dry up my bank account.Live is a quality service and i really dont mind paying for it.

ive been slowly weening my self off xbox live gold subscriptions i stopped buying the 12 month one for 6 mos already

ill just pay 25 if i have to , for 3 months not a prob for me at least when i get a game lol , that uses live

but when theres nothing just let it die out
