[QUOTE="Eubanks360"][QUOTE="guitboxdude25"] "Look its like this When Certain Races see Blacks shine no matter if its hip hop or whatever they wanna hate and its appauling"
 jimi hendrix,thin lizzy,in living colour,lenny kravitz...
"Rock is responsible for some of the weirdest stuff ive ever seen and i dont complain about Rock in games and ppl Devil Worshiping and stuff"
lol.no kind of music can make someone worship the devil..its in the personality.plus its usually people who like death metal who tend to act that way
"but ppl wanna bash hip hop cause the are ignorat Racist fools"
wha-wha-WHAT!wait wait..lol i have to get this right..because i dont like that type of music(i said music,it seems like you can determine between race and music)im racist?!?!im sorry, but thats just..just..woah.
"its our thing and we created it.... "
actually it was created by a middle aged white guy(originally it wasnt as "explicit" though)
"it just seems that ppl wanna bash hip hop just to make fun of Black ppl"
i bash hip hop because its the worse type of "music" in the world.
"but youd rather make you Sub-Racist comments about our genre"
im sorry, who owns as genre?just want to know because im thinking of buying classic rock.
.". what about Eminem hes not Black he didnt talk about slappin h??s and stuff he is one of the greats lyricists of all times..."
your right, hed rather talk about killing family memebers....good guy...greatist lyricist?!?!(sighs)
"and just to thing ppl like yall made the same type of Idiotic insults back in the day and said that hip Hop is a Fad and a trend but look at it now... "
yah..its still a trendyfad, because any old suburban dude can be a gangsta by putting on a 50 cent cd in a lowrider, pumpin the base and acting the fool.
"so i say hate on you racist haters cause its obvious that you are Racist"
you are the one who implied that all black people are rappers(and apparently "own" the genre)
gangster rap sucks man,of course this is my own opinion, but i had to counter.dont even try to say im racist,my great aunt is black and i love her very much.if you must associate racism with genres of music, then associate it with the blues(bb king, muddy waters anyone)because those are some real people.amazing singers and songwriters, and not just some kid with a additude who can talk in rhyme really fast.

"ike ppl that display the rebel flag are prolly mostly racists so keep listing to that trash you call rock and ill listen the DOCTORS AVOCATE"
true.most people who display the rebel flag are ignorant hicks.but they listen to country.not rock.and rocknot trash.
" that explains Rap and Hip Hop because Hip hop is dead and yall are the ppl that killed it"
i killed it?explain to me how?
" in a way i do agree only to the fact that ppl think its cool to listen to rap but 10 years ago ppl thought rap is garbage"
no,rap 10 years ago was good, rap now sucks.its just not the same anymore, its to much of the same thing, whichis fighting, killing and ho's and they get praised for it because lil white kids think its gangster but "real a$$ gangsters dont flex nuts, cause real a$$ gangsters now they got em"-ghetto boys
"rock is and will always be garbage."
why?do you actually not like it or is it the fact that the mojority of people who listen to it are white
Rock has never been garbage up until about 15 years ago. People think that rock music has been dominated by white people, which may be true, but some of rock musics most influential artists were African American's, same goes for blues. Blues and blues rock is symbolic of the 60's and 70's, most of the music during those decades was influenced by the Delta bluesmen like Robert Johnson, who many people believe sold his soul to the Devil at the Crossroads (I think it is in Louisiana) in order to become a famous musician, and his legacy has influenced many people, including one white British musician by the name of Eric Clapton, as well as Jeff Beck, another very formidable bluesman. B.B King, Buddy Guy, Wes Montgomery and Chuck Berry are some of the most influential and probably some of the most famous African American musicians of the 20th Century, as a guitar player I find their music more compelling and more inspirational then other white guitarists, and I am white myself. Do I pretend to play like I am a black blues player? No I sure dont but that doesnt stop their music from having an impact on the way I play the blues, which I do it in a blues rock sort of way like Colin James or Eric Clapton would do it instead of the slow pace of the classic Delta Blues.
Jimi Hendrix, probably one of the biggest names in rock history was black, and he is just as popular as Chuck Berry but he lived a shorter life, which might also make him less well known to a lot of people. Hendrix's music, however did not reflect much of his life like blues musicians do with their songs. Hendrix was a black man trying to make it in a predominantly white rock music scene, however anyone who listens to his music knows that he is easily one of the most innovative songwriters of all time and his music was able to appeal to white people as well as black people. Not to mention a lot of his tunes that he wrote during his career actually represent the things that were going on at that point in time (see the song Manic Depression, as he had a serious battle as a drug abuser for many years and I do believe he had that illness as well from doing drugs).
