The display 360 at our walmart has rrod. I'm not buying one till Jasper comes out and I can be sure it is one. I can do without Gears, could care less for Halo, I've got Bioshock and ME on PC. The genre I want is rpg's and looks like 360 is the way to go.

That's really only because sony gave them that chance. They put all that money in getting blu-ray only movies instead of gaming. I was like WTH :|

as if sony doesn't.... come on, its not like sony's an angel they cancelled one of the games i was anticpating even more that the regular heavy hitters, im talking about eight days

How did MS get all of this done? By skipping out on the xbox and getting into this gen early.

And the recent JRPG storm is out of desperation. For months we've been hearing about MS falling on their face outside of the U.S. So, they are trying to save face. It's a good business move but should have been done from the get-go if they had a clue. It's pretty obvious that if you market yourself as a U.S. console for U.S. citizens, you are only going to sell in the U.S.

Again, should have done it from the get-go.

You know what matters? Games. If MS is still providing the 360 with great games I could care less about what happens in Japan. I thought we were gamers here, not stockholders.

That "came in early" argument is rubbish. Coming in early was clearly a market strategy. If coming in early led to all these positive effects, it was a good move.

Sony fanboys would have us believe that them "coming in early" was just a coincidence.

And RRoD is NOT a positive result of the early entrance. Neither was leaving xbox owners in the dust.

While I agree that people saying that it's coincidence are false, I also think people like you that think the early MS lead was of gaming's benefit are lost.

If I want a exclusive 360 game I just wait for it come out on the PC. As for PS3 exclusives the only way to play these games is on a PS3, exclusives on the PS systems are true exclusives.jimm895

you have a choice, either buy a 300 dollar xbox 360, or spend more than double that on a gaming rig, chances are you'll be spending over a grand. If you buy a PS3 and 360 and wii, you STILL wouldn't be spending what it takes to build a PC. So just buy all the consoles and get over yourself.
