I laugh at the Halo 3 haters.

They all seem to think it is bad. But the 200,000 people who play it everyday and the 1 billion matches played online don't seem to think so.

When you own a console as cheap as a 360, bought a game like Halo 3 with it, and then realize that you just wasted $59.99...I'm pretty sure you'd be in extreme denial and play that game all the time, as well.

Halo 3 doesnt even need to defend itself anymore...Its reputation preceeds it. All you need to refer to is ''Reveiws, Sales, Awards, Online, lineage and 1 billion'' and the haters are stumped.

Im not kidding, think about it just explain those 6 points briefly and you've instantly eaten alive any fanboys half baked attempt at an argument againest this Amazing Game.

BTW its actually 200,000 people at ''Rush hour'' each day. On the whole Halo 3 hits between 700,000 and 1,000,000 unique players a day! :P

For me Halo 3 is hands down the most fun to play shooter this generation, by a million miles too, so that is why it is so successfull, visuals do not help, when a shooter is more of the same and 1000% linear and boring

I played halo 3, I found it very kiddy. Little blue cartoon looking aliens with high pitched american kids voices screaming 'OH MY GOD' and 'YOU B**STARD' . I can see why the game appeals to younger players though its very colourful.

It wasn't a terrible game, but I didn't much care for it. I enjoyed Halo 2 for a long time before I finally got sick of it, and the original Halo is one of my favorite games ever, so I was slightly disappointed by Halo 3. Not bashing it, but I eventually sold it because I just couldn't get into it anymore.

Gamespot gave it one of the lowest scores it got, for other reviews scores it has an score of 8.2 on Metacritic. We only use Gamespot scores here for ownage, but you can't say that Halo Wars is bad just because it got a 6.5 here and ignore the other reviews it got.

Also why is the Halo name so popular? Maybe because it a good game serise?

6.5 does not a great game make. Halo wars is just cashing in on the Halo name. They made a distinctly average game stuck the name Halo on it and it will sell tonnes to uninformed Halo fans. I think is very under handed esp the marketing campaign trying to make it look like a FPS game.

First 6.5 is one of the lowest scores it got for a review. Sure we only use Gamespot here for ownage, but that does not mean we should ingore all the other reviews it got and say it was a bad game.

And, by the way, I've owned a 360. I play my PS3 far more often, because the titles I'm playing are quality instead of simply being overwhelmed by quantity and thinking that's a solid investment.

I don't like it. I used to play it with my friend when I went over to his house, but I usually stopped after 30 min or so.

To me, it's an extremely, extremely arcadey game where people take WAY too many hits. Everything is so floaty, warthogs, banshees...it just doesn't work. 3 bursts of an assault rifle to the head is too much in my opinion.

I laugh at the kids that think Halo 3 is 'cool' when there's at least 3 or 4 shooters that put it to shame, it's only popular because of the name
