The irony is the game that represents the gaming industry now is the Wii and games like Wii Play and Wii Sport. The ironic part of that is many lemmings HATE the Wii and put it down because it's so popular. Cows do too. They can't understand how anyone could possibly support the Wii yet when someone says the same thing about a game like Halo they must be wrong.first off, TC, 2 million people could play Big Mutha Truckers, but it would still be a horrible game. Numbers don't mean anything,
and sencondly, I personally don't like Halo because it's overrated. True, it's a they are fun games sometimes (NOT including Halo Wars) but when you look at the games and then look at all of the attention it gets, it just doesn't match up. There are tons and tons and tons and TONS of better FPSs out there. Plus, when outsiders of the gaming world look at us, the first game they see is Halo, as if Halo is the game that represents the gaming industry just because it's so succesful. Why can't a better game be there? One that isn't just all about running and gunning? What I'm saying is that Halo doesn't deserve a fraction of the attention it gets.
That's just why I dislike it.
