The price is an issue because in reality money is whats important, and while the hardcore nerd crowd (yes you there posting on the gaming forum) may be impressed with this sort of thing (reminds me of second life) the rest of the world seem to say 'meh, I don't have time for that'.

Well in the case of the PS3 what is there to attach to, without good games there is nothing to play, so how do the COWS expect hight attach rates for the PS3. See it's the whole chicken and egg senario. In order to sell alot of consoles you need good games, in order to get good games you need to sell alot of consoles. Neither of these things are happening for the PS3, compared to the other next gen consoles. If the market was only sony then yes they would be sitting pritty, but it's not. Sony doesn't get competition, and COWS deffinatly don't understand competition. See the one with the most sold wins, very simple, and looking at the numbers the PS3 is in last place.
You want me to import a PS3? The import duties and postage fees would be monumental. Not to mention the cost of a power converter and having no warranty.

The Wii is nothing more then a gamecube with a remote. It sold well because of price and availibility. Not because of innovation or fun.
