The media and technology of the systems will attract casuals like me. I want to hop on to games like Gears, DOA4, and Tekken and play online with my friends customize my online, and experience the future. The Wii is nothing more then a gamecube with a remote. It sold well because of price and availibility. Not because of innovation or fun. All these people who hate the PS3 will be the first to jump on its bandwagon once it gets a price cut. It's only a matter of time.

I would not talk about a price cut happing anytime soon every few months we hear about a price cut on the PSP or 360 none which have happened. You may be right the 360 may come out on top. But you can't argue with how fast the Wii is selling it already past the 360 halfway point and only been out 3 months without it best games. The only way it won't beat the 360 now is if it starts slowing soon. Which does not look like it going to happen. I am guesing that you read that Gold Dust artical yeasterday in the UK.
Ok if I started a topic saying that Nintendo is murdering Sony using sales numbers, I would say that it would definitely make more sense then using an online feature and a game that is coming in 2008 as a basis. Wouldn't you and if not can you give me your reasons? Unless of course you think that the online user base as of right now....... Well to put it in another way that online will win this console war.

You see maybe everyone doesn't want to jump online and play these sort of games, maybe they have a differnt taste then you. Not everyone is like you and has your taste in game, I pick a system for the games I like and I am sure other people will do the same. So you picked the Xbox360 and PS3, I picked Xbox 360 and Wii, see not everyone is like you so get over it.

To the OP: Don't kid yourself, you really think without Nintendoland aka Japan, the 360 will dominate? Laughable. No matter how great a console is, if it is missing a third of the market, it will not come out on top. Sure, you could say "bu bu teh xbox 1 beat the GC and had no japanese support". That's because the GC also had virtually no japanese support. Times have changed. Nintendo is now the dominant brand in Japan, and look how that's influenced their handheld market. And sold well because of price? Undoubtedly. Sold well because of availability? :lol: That doesn't even deserve a comment.

Again your entire basis for this belief is the existance of one game and some groovy avatars? what Sony did yesterday is nearly identical to what Nintendo would've done / has already done.
