darkguy_101,
What's your point? We know Halo >>>> HL in scores on major sites and on GR/MC. I posted these facts on OP.
Also, you forgot:
"Many game magazines have praised Halo as one of the best and most important games of all time. The game's popularity has led to labels such as "Halo clone" and "Halo killer", applied respectively to games either similar to or anticipated to be better than it."

My point is that they are pretty much the same. Also, you seem to forget:
GameSpot inducted Half-Life into their "Greatest Games of All Time" list in May 2007. In 2004, GameSpy held a Title Fight, in which readers voted on what they thought was the "greatest game of all time", and Half-Life was the overall winner of the survey. In the November 1999, October 2001, and April 2005 issues of PC Gamer, Half-Life was named "Best Game of All Time"/"Best PC Game Ever." Allgame said "It isn't everyday that you come across a game that totally revolutionizes an entire genre, but Half-Life has done just that." Hot Games commented on the realness of the game, and how the environment "all adds up to a totally immersive gaming experience that makes everything else look quite shoddy in comparison." Gamers Depot found the game engaging, stating that they have "yet to play a more immersive game period."
Guinness World Records awarded Half-Life with the world record for "Best-Selling First-Person Shooter of All Time (PC)" in the Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition 2008.
..
CoD4 has sold 13M so that is just BS.
And you don't need to post comments from different critics because I know they prasied Half-Life, just like others praised Halo. Gaming Age said "The game most easily comparable would be "Half-Life," but even that just pales to the overall scope and vision of Halo." NGM said "One of the best games you'll ever play. Period." Voodoo X : one of the most engrossing games I've ever played
