Considering that number 25 is the Magnavox Odyssey, with Atari Jaguar and Atari 5200 being 24 and 23 respectively, either some IGN editors think those consoles are really underrated, or the consoles that didn't make the list must be really bad. Then again, I haven't played those consoles, so who am I to judge?

This is what I predicted yesterday after they showed the first 10. (gamecube got robbed , turbografx -lol)

Exclusives, multiplats, sales(the PS3 has already sold as much as the original Xbox sold in it's lifetime), controllers(Xbox controller was atrocious), life cycle(the PS3 has already been around about as long as the Xbox was around), looks, anti-pirating(Xbox might have been the most pirated console ever)... i mean how did the genesis lose to XBOX 1. I understand the Saturn or Dreamcast losing. to the XBOX since they can be compared as 3-D consoles, and in many ways the XBOX had a bunch of games that were just virtually superior to some of the stuff on the saturn, and eventually lasted way longer and established a bigger library than the Dreamcast. But the genesis is easily 2nd or 3rd among 2-D platforms and a damn good one for its gen.

I think the list is horrible to be honest....the fact that Wii might honestly be higher than the PS3, XBOX 1, Gamecube, or Sega Genesis....but hey those are my opinions....so i guess that should be taken with a grain of salt.

The genesis is not on the list yet, i double checked so be happy :P

Only Sega master system and sega saturn there.
