The Atari I would not put there, and the NES would not be top (N64 probably would be).

I'd also bump off the PS2 in favor of the Xbox. The PS1 can stay though.

Dreamcast was a great console IMO with a lot of great games. Dreamcast was also much more innovative at the time, so to me; Dreamcast would be ahead of the 360. Not by much though since at the top would be NES, PS2, SNES, PS1, etc.

How did the 360 make this list? there is nothing that differentiates it from a PS3. And how did the Wii make this list it has 4 or 5 Excellent games and the others have loads?

I think they just put the wii there because they are going to score skyward sword pretty high.

It hasn't done anything significant. Sure you may prefer it, but 360 created a great online experience on consoles, an interface update that changed the life of consoles (meaning consoles can now fully change in their lifetime). Wii revoltuioned gaming, by making gaming mainstream and having fun motion controls that worked. PS3 has done nothing like that, it's just a solid consoles

i haven't read the article. If historical significance and original IPs on a system matter, then I can see this list as it it. If it's ONLY about the games, the PS2 wins and it's not even close.

i wouldnt put the 360 in the top ten. i think the 360's massive failure rate (by far the highest of any of the consoles on the list) should take it down quite a few notches. hardware reliability is an important factor.

Yeah I don't get it ay. PS3 hasn't done anything revolutionary or great. I've said this many times, it's just a solid console. What makes it so great?
